5.5 to 5.6% I m happy for that... i prefer them to be more conservative n prudent on their cash flows instead of act as a Santa Clause..

Just to recap, whatever amount that is gonna be declared as dividend in about 2 weeks is only gonna reflect for last year's statement . Correct ?
So if one puts in 60K this week, the returns for this 60K will only be based on next year's declaration of dividend rate?

The way EPF pays dividend is slightly different.
It is not like the final balance of 2016 will be paid at full rate.
Just Google around and you'll find the EPF mechanism.

You are very observant, bro,... Well,... I would love to be able to move my funds from the EPF out albeit slowly,... like what I've been doing with the PNB funds,.. but I can't do so yet because I don't qualify to withdraw yet !

6.0% i'll be very very happy loh considering the loss EPF incurred in FGV shares
*
FGV loss was already realised in their account back in 2014 when the price dropped by about half.

So FGV impact on EPF 2016 return should be rather small.
