Accountability of MBSB BOD.
That's the question.

7B with average amount of less than 3k per person
Is quite good news since the amount is very low so AUM won't have much impact

In a written parliamentary reply to Datuk Seri Mohmed Puzi Ali (Barisan Nasional-Pekan), the MOF said that 2.93 million members, or 22.6% of total EPF members under the age of 55, had made withdrawals through Account 3 during the period, totalling RM6.98 billion, with an average withdrawal of RM2,382.

Not even 1% of total AUM in EPF
EPF as off march 2024 is holding 1.19T
So to write it out
EPF AUM 1,190,000,000,000
Withdraw 7,000,000,000
0.58% of total AUM

this is a bit too optimistic....

a better gauge would be like 10% of the overall monthly contribution into EPF via salary route... so maybe 1 billion thereabout?

Hi guys, regarding Acc 3, is there a risk where someday EPF will give lower dividend compared to Acc 1 and 2?
Contemplating moving funds to Acc 3 since I can't think of any downside, seems like a no brainer unless I am unaware of any hidden clauses.
Thanks!

Some had cautioned that, whatever you moved, only 10% will be going to account 3

2024 don't need to worry since they say same dividend
2025 and beyond high chance might get lower tier dividend compare to account 1 and 2
This give them better excuse to declare lower dividend also ma since money is easily withdrawn

Thanks, that's my concern too. In the event that they set this rule, is it still possible to transfer back to account 2? Or, worst case, withdraw and re-deposit as self contribution into account 1/2?
Thanks!
