The bank will charge you 3% upfront and the interest will be added to your principal and will be divided by 12 months. And you need to pay back per month. Not at the end of 12 months tenure

Apply first time. Approved. Received today. CL is extremely low, but more than enough to cover 1% cashback.

its spread out,

says rm6000 for 6 months @ 3%

then monthly installment is rm1000 + rm15

thats why they mentioned no penalty for early settlement.

u can double check who ever call u up for the offer.

What I meant is, the interest will be charged in your total amount and divided by x number of months

For my case
RM9000 + 3% = RM9270

Monthly repayment: RM772.50

How much interest will be able to offset if you are planning to use that to reduce your housing loan amount? 1.5% ?

Applied at PC Fair on Sunday. Send over my documents on Monday. Haven't heard from them since. How long does it usually take for them to get back to us?

home loan mortgage is different because its based on reducing principle. but you will have extra liquid cash in advance to serve any raining day.

Use Excel and calculate what is the total sum if you "save" 772.5 per month..assume interest rate is 2.5%..

Month 1 772.5
Month 2 772.5 + (772.5*0.025/12)
Month 3 772.5*2 + { ()+772.5+772.5} *0.025/12}
.....till month6...the interest you paid will be roughly 303.6 or 3.37%

u need to calculate the EIR

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_rate_%28finance%29

3% flat rate for a year will translate close to 5.69% of a normal housing loan.

If you are already max out without any other credit card, then you are already saved by not spending....

Paying bills for your parents, family members?

I dont spend a lot but the assessment bill is taking up a large junk of my bill. Last month I over spent and can only max out 50 and this month too...

Spend what you need, not spend because you want to max out the rebate sweat.gif
