it looks like food deal via ipay88 is entitled for 5% rebate. I made few purchases few weeks back for papa johns coupon from living social. one with my pc, the other two via app on my phone. with pc I was directed to ipay88 while with app I was charged directly to living social. the statement today shows only payment with ipay88 is entitled for 5% rebate.

Can you call OCBC to get the MCC code for the iPay88 transactions ?

Despite being a restaurant, Zun Kitchenette at Mid Valley is entitled for only 1% cash back.
The transaction appeared as Eu Yan Sang in credit card statement.

that's not necessarily the case, that food deal via ipay88 via living social is under 5%

i've had food related deal under 1% but i also have non food related deal under 5%
it's more like a roulette in these cases laugh.gif

It is dependent on the MCC code ...I paid Maxis phone bill at Maxis center and got only 1%....but paid on line through Ocbc internet banking get 5%

Maximum rebate is RM 50.

RM 5000 spending x 1% rebate = RM50.

Further spending with this card get nothing. Why need to increase credit limit? You can call the bank and request for credit limit.

Well, due to MC's acceptance is higher compared to AmEx. laugh.gif
Anyway, you gave a good point as well.

I better make an effort to ask for Maybank2Card instead. Need to visit the centre soon.
The CL it gave me was based on my salary in 2011 when they offered that card to me, which was 2x lower than what I'm earning today. sweat.gif

No, I don't think so as my CL from ocbc bank is not consider generous sad.gif

I would say CL given is based on the personal in term of Payment behavior, income and so on

My CL from OCBC also not consider generous, is the most low CL among all the bank, less than 2x of my salary. I even swipe 1-3k per month, but I didnt care it as it is more than enough..every month after 50 rebate cap reached, I will use other card. The most generous bank is SCB, 7x of my salary. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif but useless, I only swipe few hundred per year....just a backup card flex.gif
