technically... we are already missing out some details when we watch 1080p movies on a 720 screen.

for me... no TV at home. no PC at home. dun abuse company laptop. so, only other choice is watch on note 2 lor... usually at night. about 30 mins before going to sleep.

actually... research says not good to watch bright screen (like mobile phone) and exciting movies before sleep. you can't actually sleep after that. but well... it din seem to apply to me though... lolz...

another format called TP? which quality is better Mkv or TP as in smaller size, same bitrate?

When i connect my N2 to my laptop, i will have to choose either MTP or PTP. i can view the files, and also transfer files between my phone and laptop. but my notification bar in my laptop doesnt have any icon for me to 'eject' the 'usb drive' (eg, just like ejecting your pendrive or external hdd)

is this normal?

if so, i just unplug the cable at will once any files transferring is done?

Yes it is normal. Just make sure no more active transfers and you can just pull the cable.

using a-non original cable bought from tskhor (a reseller), i managed to get ratings as follows
Now, Avg, Max (1,698, 700, 700) and (1,698, 900 , 900) respectively

Seems that NEAK kernel default setting for current is set at 1700mA. I downloaded uNEAKEngine and changed it to 1800mA.

At the moment I am on  NEAK Smart Response set to Normal and the battery consumption seems to be the same like the stock kernel. I have not try the Battery mode yet or any other setting options yet.

Any body that are running on NEAK kernel and has good battery life, may be you guys/gals can share your settings here.

since we are on the topic of stock browser, the main reason i don't use it is because it is quite dimmed. i know i can control the brightness but if i adjust the brightness of the browser, it overrides my original phone brightness. i don't like that. and it seems like there's a blue filter over the screen. only when i'm using the browser. anyone experiencing this? any workarounds? 

It could be because you have activated your power saving mode. Switch it off and see whether it dims anymore.
