QUOTE(tot31 @ Feb 7 2013, 07:29 PM) I have set in uNEAKEngine the Current Control for AC at 2000mA, an interesting finding. According to GCC the current_now is 1998 but current_avg and current_max are limited to 1800mA it seems. Maybe there is an internal circuit that limits the current charging to the phone at 1800mA [attachmentid=3300495] The battery have its own protection which cannot be bypassed as it is in the battery chip itself.

Another interesting finding. Elixir 2 reported the current charging is at 1998mA, maybe Elixir 2 only reported the current_now value instead of current_avg value ?

QUOTE(brotan @ Feb 7 2013, 08:36 PM) The chip is for battery protection, not to protect the phone And if not mistaken it is to protect from higher than expected voltage. Not too much on current Back in s2 days gokhan n entropy n one other guy did some test and concluded that the battery chip have a limit on the charging rate that the kernel cannot bypass. hence you can change the charging value to any value but the battery won't charge any faster. which is why gokhan subsequently removed charging rate modification from his kernel. I suppose it's the same for all Samsung battery. This post has been edited by antt00: Feb 7 2013, 08:49 PM

fruitie neo0915try using this apps from GP Paragon exFat,NTFS, HFS+ mount.. my external hdd buffalo 1tb juz works great using a cheapo USB otg cable. connect ur hdd to note 2, then open up this apps, it will detect your hdd. simply press mount and wait a while to let the note 2 to connect ur hdd. it will have 2 directory settings after you connect, i juz use the default 1 which is easier for me. every file in my hdd is usable and the video files played juz fine from the hdd. of course there is a 1-2sec pause if you skip d video. but hey, it WORKS! QUOTE(toottut89 @ Feb 7 2013, 09:47 PM) Sifu sifu sekalian. My TWRP recovery is missing, can I reflash using mobile odin?? What happened to it? You need to download and flash the tar version. Yes you can try with mobile odin but i would advice to use PC odin. Edit: If you have some other version of CWM (not samsung stock recovery) you can also just flash the TWRP zip file. Getting Started

|
Hi all, anyone encounter earpiece problem? My Note 2 earpiece seems like malfunction occasionally whereby i was unable to hear the voice when i make a call... i have done hardware checking by using*#0*# but it seems like nothing wrong with the receiver... initially i thought it should be software problem but a factory reset doesn't seem to solve the issue... Any idea anyone?
