I would say. Buying the note 2 has change my daily task. I always forget things. My note 2 ia my personal diary now. I spend a lot time utilizing it. Recording meeting notes. Capture a picture and circle the problem and it allows better communication. The camera helps bit still can be improved. Battery life varies, some people are so concern and boasting on their ability to achieve days. What for? I bought this phone to enjoy and not to spend time worrying about it. The spen is just remarkable. Calender is great also. Contact should use a better way of organizing. Yes the casing can be improved with time. Perhaps ditch aluminium and go for light weight but durable ceramic ? I prefer to enjoy the features rather than worry of its performance. Minor lags I accept. Like when u press the contatcs button, its a 1 or 2 sec delay. I was so scared to use a big phone. And now? I could not live without it. Haha. The irony. I did 2 months of research on iPhone5 vs note 2. I would say....didnt regret it.

QUOTE(yyt @ Feb 19 2013, 12:56 AM) for me, i really don't understand why people feel plastic is cheap. plastic is light, plastic is lasting, plastic can bend, etc... true. i agree on the durability of plastic. but i also think using polycarbonate like HTC or nokia Lumia is also considerable. Its durable, matter, and more scratch resistant.

Not all people has the same usage or desire on using a phone. I bought Note 2 because of the screen size and I got it really cheap RM999 ( the price that I could not resist ). Most importantly for me is the the Samsung firmware support. Since S2 to Note 1, the support on their firmware is better the other phone that I have been using.

I can remember when I first connect a external keyboard using the OTG cable on to my Samsung Galaxy S2, it could not power up the external keyboard hence rendering it disfunctional. But I tried the same thing a few minutes ago, and to my dismay when I connect my external keyboard to my Note 2 using the OTG cable, it works like a charm. I guess the Note 2 is able to output sufficient amount of power to power up the external keyboard. By the way I am now typing using the external keyboard on my note 2. Nowsending messages which includes composing sms would be so easy, fast and efficient now... KUDOS to samsung because now the external keyboard could work now..

Its durable, matter, and more scratch resistant. First of all..most of Samsung user want a phone with removeable battery features. This make using hard/solid unbendable polycarbonate backcover out of the question and we end up using a thin bendable plastic. Even then we still hear cases the backcover crack due to open and closing it. HTC and Lumia have a solid polycarbonate body due to mostly those un-removeable battery.

QUOTE(King_Hector @ Feb 19 2013, 12:43 AM) Yea. They shld innovate. Even note 2 not much different from note. Faster processor, slightly bigger screen, and that's abt it. imo, same can be said for iphone 4s and iphone 5. Just make it longer only and better spec..

QUOTE(botakbin @ Feb 19 2013, 01:03 AM) true. i agree on the durability of plastic. but i also think using polycarbonate like HTC or nokia Lumia is also considerable. Its durable, matter, and more scratch resistant. firstly raw material of plastic is petroleum, which comes from bangkai binatang (animal carcass). of course there are many uses of plastics in the modern wall like tupperware, car accessories, etc. so it also depends on what type of plastic used. in the case of samsung, the feeling is flimsy and cheap.

QUOTE(King_Hector @ Feb 19 2013, 12:26 AM) To make the king go WOW 1) change the fugly "design for human" shape of s3. Besides by now they already make full use seeing so many different models use the same casing. 2) use proper rgb screen. 3) stop the cheap plastic fetish already. here we go again with the rgb thinggy..

I was never a note 1 user but I think there's more than that for note 2. Not just faster processor and bigger screen. Note 2 is not the same as the 'fruit' product.

This is unproven you know. Crude oil comes from marine plants and tiny organism. The plastic is very subjective depending on user. I like the fact that it is lighter than other material (imagine holding and using your note 2 for long period) and it does not feel cheap to me.

is there any software or apps that can backup the whole note2 apps? I have been using ES File Ex to backup apps all these while, however, there are certain apps that it is unable to backup, which is still ok for me as it backup almost 90% of my apps.
How about those apps such as Need for Speed and Sygic (and etc) that required us to download additional large file size? is there any apps or software that can backup the whole additional download?
Hope anyone knows can share some knowledge here. thanks

QUOTE(kevintth @ Feb 19 2013, 12:36 AM) 3- agreed with you, should have something like HTC body or aluminium body like iphone i'm one of those that appreciate the 'cheap' plastic. to me... it's strong enough to withstand drops without ending with dents. it is lightweight enough for me. many use a case with phones anyway... so, whether its plastic or gold... many will end up seeing the case and not the actual phone itself anyway. even if one wants to give the phone a naked feel... one can still dress it up with carbon fiber 'stickers' from iDefense... or skinz from GadgetSkinz. but seriously... i'm surprised mods are letting all these bashing going around without giving out vacation tickets. if not happy with a phone... then dun buy it la... no need to go to the phone's thread and tell the owners there that you dun like this, you dun like that... adds more noise to this already fast moving thread. so sianz... QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 18 2013, 07:01 PM) Not cool la. Abnormal kot. Anyway, do we have any games that uses S-Pen? You know I was a big fan of NDSL. i just wish some big name will port over Okami to Note 2... it's really perfect... maybe Samsung can fund the port and use it to showcase Note...
