here is what i got from TM unifi reply on my slow download speed (500KB/sec) on 20mbps line. Teachnician came and inspect it and he also shocked to see the slow speed, not even reach 1MB/sec. They claimed that its TM routing problem. so is there any way to clear the routing problem? using VPN not help much, speed about the same biggrin.gif any sifu here can help? brows.gif

Hey guys, I have some enquiries here.

1. I'm an existing Streamyx user. Can I terminate my Streamyx and current telephone package after the installation of UniFi? Will TM stop charge me right after my application for termination at TM Point?

2. I'm aware that there is an on-going promotion now for UniFi. I had called TM and they said I will only get the first-month subscription and installation fees waiver through online application. For this reason, may I know how will they charge me?

I heard that the first-time subscribers have to pay 2 months subscription fees upfront for their first bill received. So, if the first-month subscription fees waiver is in place, what amount would they charge me in the first bill, presuming that my VIP5 is activated in 1/6?

(JUNE) First bill: RM149 (since another month is waived)
(JULY) Second bill: RM 0
(AUGUST) Third bill: RM149
So on so forth....

Am I right with the numbers?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

First of all, thanks for your reply. smile.gif
Did you terminate the telephone line manually or TM did it for you automatically?

Will they take back our modem? I bought the new modem (the old one is spoiled so I have to fork out money to buy a new one) at TM Point myself.
