Good,but my nexus 7 became laggy when 6gb space more

Sync background services < no 1 ram, bandwith sucker.

Install so many things inside? So which ROM are u currently using? I saw so many `tilapia` thing in xda, don't have time to survey yet.

hi all, I am yet to update my N7C to 4.2.2 and the message kept popping up at the top left screen.

Currently i'm on 4.2.1 rooted (with Wug's Nexus 7 root toolkit v1.6.2, older version) and flash with "MOD][4.2.1/4.2][JOP40D/JOP40C] Tethering/Wifi Hotspot for the Nexus 7 3G" from XDA-developers forum.

Anyone can advice how do I upgrade to 4.2.2 without loosing my data/apps in the N7C?

Just got myself 1 unit N7 32GB on Monday.
Feel kinda warm @left hand side of the device after half hours+ of 2D gaming.
Anyone having this issue as well?

problem solved

1st, i edit my internet connection's dns1 n 2 using google dns
2nd, force update my device to 4.2.2, but get error, doesnt matter (maybe coz rooted)
3rd, manually change the time
4th, setting > accounts > Google > remove account, then go play store reconnect again

after googled around, this grey icon is cause my device is out of sync with google, just need to tweak several things to put it back.

It is normal to feel the heat at the back of the device. I played 15 mins of Real Racing 3 also very heaty at the back. Just like movie playback also same... can feel the heat from the rear while holding it.

any gps software for nexus 7?
nexus support otg ? how to read pendrive? i try , but cant...

use waze. better than some paid gps app.

need data connection, though.

OTG only works with rooted Nexus 7 if I am not mistaken.

I am using stickmount app and it works with both pendrive/ external HDD. The app is for reading the contents of external devices.

i guess thats normal, im having this issue too, probably due to the lack of heat ventilation from the whole plastic design

I believe that's where the processor is...a warm temp is consider normal.

guys how is the battery life of the nexus 7c with H+ ?

From my experience, if ur cellular and location services (gps) is ON....even full day you never use your device....from 8am fully charged, to midnight, you will lose at least almost 30% battery.
