QUOTE(ralph_d @ Mar 7 2013, 09:13 AM) asked the seller, price not reasonable. google play store already started selling, 30 usd at the states, 25 quid for the brits. the price he quote to me is nowhere near that even excluding the shipping fee. QUOTE(Jemi @ Mar 7 2013, 02:13 PM) overpriced piece of plasticQUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 7 2013, 11:14 AM) I bought my magnetic case ( with close/open n wakeup sleep function) from EBay for US$17. Very good quality and is still in tip top condition also using the exact same case, bought from HERE, total price include OTG cable + postage = RM70++First unit I received there were some slight issues with the magnetic function and I got a new replacement free thereafter http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...ME:L:OC:MY:3160 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « been using it ever since, i prefer this over the Blurex Ultra Slim case, it feels slimmer than Blurex eventhough Blurex has the "Ultra Slim" title on it.. |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Mar 7 2013, 09:06 AM) By the way, this Nillkin brand got 3 different folio cases but very similar. The one i bought from eBay S$21.70 is so called ULTRATHIN version. Not sure how thin is it compare to the other 2. So far the seller in LYN selling not the slim version right? Or maybe i overlook. You can also read the specification here also: http://www.nillkin.com/english/product.asp...d=2&sid=0&tid=0 This post has been edited by philipcs: Mar 7 2013, 04:49 PM |

QUOTE(philipcs @ Mar 7 2013, 04:46 PM) By the way, this Nillkin brand got 3 different folio cases but very similar. I am using the one on the far right of your pic....so far happy with it...nice quality, nice leather feel though its not really real leather...but real enough..The one i bought from eBay S$21.70 is so called ULTRATHIN version. You can also read the specification here also: http://www.nillkin.com/english/product.asp...d=2&sid=0&tid=0 only thing is I can't get it to stand properly with the flips folded into triangular. it's just too light a weight to lean on the cover...and the cover surface being smooth to the touch...do not have enough friction to stay in shape. so take note...don't expect the stand function to work properly...i think this applies to all 3 types. |

I think the design comes from the essence of a light massed protective cover with a cover-cum-stand for movie/picture viewing. It was never meant to type on unless you're angling it at 30 degreesonly thing is I can't get it to stand properly with the flips folded into triangular. it's just too light a weight to lean on the cover...and the cover surface being smooth to the touch...do not have enough friction to stay in shape. so take note...don't expect the stand function to work properly...i think this applies to all 3 types. edited. Apologies. I misunderstood the first read. My sister is having the exact casing and it seems to hold just fine. Previously I used the Tri-candy series which carries the same design form also performed admirably. I suspect there's some magnets on the case to help it stay in shape.
