Hi, how's your RES doing?
Constant yawning is one of the many symptoms of possible respiratory infection.
Have you noticed any other symptoms such as constant basking, swimming lopsided or bubbling at her nostrils?
Could you show us some pictures of her living condition?
If you're prepared to bring her to see a vet, pm me and I'll share a herp vet located in Ampang.
Good luck!

Looks good ? except for the slightly swollen eye ?

There's growth meaning it was eating before you got it - care to show or narrate a bit on where the whole setup is placed ?

Cheers

Tank setup is good - filter , water and basking now another piece of vital information that may br the cause !

Aircond in room ? Or celling fan on top of tank ?

Cheers

From my experience, local fish shops that sell these turtles are generally not too concerned about proper living conditions for them, so we shouldn't use their set ups as a benchmark.

Having said that, I too believe your set up is good enough, at least until these fellas outgrow your tank, which would be sooner than you think.

If I'm not mistaken, RI is contagious to the other turtles, so you may need to start segregating the guy with it from the other 2.

Perhaps it's also prudent to purchase a thermometer to monitor their water temperature, a cheap one should do.

I bought one before, but I recall that the water is always warm enough despite being indoors. Eventually the turtles breached the battery cap, letting water in followed by massive corrosion sad.gif

Start of a type of " shell rot " will spread to all other turtles around sharing its enclosure !! End of last year and early this year import has that ( or at least 50% or more )

Need treatment if not the " white" will spread to almost 100% of the shell if the turtle did not die first !!

As these guys are still small and some of them still has shell that has not harden they dont really respond well to most if not any treatment !!

Cheers
