My SNote fc the rest of the apps have no problem

so far I have not try to use the SNote yet. It might be the SNote app. Why not you try to use Handynote instead of SNote.

I take it that you have not been following the threads diligently. If you have you would have read that the charging cable comes in two variants. One is with 4 pin, the other with 5. They are perfectly ok.

Why is it so? I don't know. And I don't think anyone here knows. If someone does, I would like to know as well.

Mate, don't misunderstand. No crucification whatsoever here. Just an endeavour to afford you an answer to your query.

I in fact did post here just a few days ago that my newly acquired Note2 came with a 4 pin charging cable.

I don't understand something:
I search the web fro some answers and what I found is that Android effectively manages RAM on the phone, meaning that when it is almost full, the phone will kill some apps to free up space automatically without any human intervention. But what I experience is today I played glu mobile game which is DEATH DOME, which is graphically demanding. I thought with a 2Gb RAM, the Note 2's RAM would be sufficient for games. But after 15 minutes in the game, the app shuts down to the home page. So if android claims to handle RAM efficiently, clearly this is not the case. I then downloaded shortcut task manager Note 2 from google play and then I clear memory, and I have more than 1 Gb free RAM. I started the game and I played more than 1 hour without any shutdown of apps. So my question is whether is it a good practice to end apps from task manager, or just let the phone manages the RAM for us?

I have read in xda even on 4.1.1, sNote seems to be has some lagging issue. Maybe sNote was not very well written/coded.

maybe is the game itself got problem?

I don’t trust Android system can effectively clear the RAM for you. If yes, there wont be having so many RAM booster apps, manager, task killer, apps killer, task manager etc etc.

btw, Note 2 itself has task killer, no need go play store install...

bro, read properly, he downloaded the SHORCUT for Task Killer not the app. In Note 2 we have to long press Menu button then click on Task Killer icon to get into the Task Killer app. The shortcut is cool but it annoys me with the pop up and I ended uninstall it.

Actually not just Note 2, even a bada phone from Samsung also work like that... have to turn on 3G to receive MMS. Same goes to sending MMS.

Some 3rd party launcher like nova and tsf shell can make a direct shortcut to the task manager. No need for the shortcut app. icon_rolleyes.gif

I think you need at least some form of data in order to send/receive mms

My company disabled our data for all our companies phone because of data leak (no plan), even non-smartphones can not send or receive mms.

If not mistaken, mms only started during the days where we used WAP connection

I have bought Nova but ended I uninstall it, the dev couldn't bother to make a simple random animation effects on the desktop. Tried TSF but don't really like it. ADW is the second best for me. Now I am using Next Launcher, the best so far for me. BTW I don't really use the Task Killer app so often, so long press the HOME button is that not much trouble.
