Samsung has already pulled out the 4.1.2 update because of the battery draining issue. You are not missing anything on this 4.1.2, nothing special actually. It was just a minor update only 0.0.1 increment. Just enjoy your Note 2.
*
4.1.2 fixes one of the most critical flaws in note 2, i think samsung gonna release another patch soon after they pulled back the 4.1.2

dunno where i copied already, but looks like 4.1.2 is better in benchmark than 4.1.1, and i don't have any battery draining issue, i might oso find it better smile.gif

What I am trying to say is there is a possibility that 4.1.2 may still be available. But of course I am not sure. Reasons I say this are :

1. Went to a Samsung store this afternoon and was told that it is still available (Of course it has been known that some of them do not know what they are talking about).
2. I have yet to register my phone and it could be due to this that it is not available to my unit yet. Will be doing so to see if I can after that.
*
no need to register your phone to get the update.
btw, without 4.1.2 also is ok, as long as nobody try to exploit the bug in 4.1.1, the rest of the updates are not obvious.

Hey guys, for those that on NEAK kernel, is that I just need to download the zip file and flash using CWM?

I saw that he has linked quite a number of Play Store links, what are those things? I will need those as well?

Thanks. smile.gif

Edit: Forget about it, just tried and it didn't support 64GB. laugh.gif My SD card keeps safely ejecting on its own. tongue.gif On Perseus now.
*
what do you put inside your 64GB micro SD card? hmm.gif just curious.

no other alternative apps to that? LOL.
*
There is an apps that do this, as long as you have root access.
Go Backup, just select all n backup, then store the database, then later restore. And it's free.

Does this app backup n restore data associated with the apps
*
Yes, it can also save your data.
I use it to save my games data, to play cheat, or should I say, to have second chance -- for the choice I make in the games.

I dunno whether it's one click, but just select all n restore, including your sms, contact.

Thank you for all the helps from this community.

Btw, when u connect your pc to note 2, now u dont have to mount them like my other old Android phones (click on the green andriod), oso both phone n pc can access the hp storage at the same time now. What is this new feature called?

MTP (Media Transfer Protocol). IMHO this is a step towards lock-in since it relies on the MTP protocol unlike the Mass Storage profile used in 2.3.x
*
I see, learn new thing already.

This is so convenient that last time the mount unmount makes me use airdroid app, because it was so slow n inconvenient n wasting time.

so far I have not try to use the SNote yet. It might be the SNote app. Why not you try to use Handynote instead of SNote.

SNote lag when open up, at least for mine smile.gif

Company just sent out an email, will subsidize RM 800 for our mobile phone. Can buy any phone as we like.

Last time, Company will buy us any phone from a specific brand and if we resign within 2 years, have to return the phone. Now, the phone is ours from the first day we bought it.

hmm.gif If only it came 3 months ago... Now, I might get a Nexus 4 or something. rolleyes.gif
*
dont buy nexus 4, i have it, not really nice compare to note 2, wait for next generation phone, it's coming out already.
in term of design, thickness, battery, etc --> no no.
other than the snapdragon is a little bit better than samsung chipset.

Thank you for the honest opinion. No sd, Non removable battery, that's a dealbreaker for me.
*
it's like u have iphone 4s, do you want iphone 5...
it's not that nexus 4 is bad, but with all the conveniences of note 2, i can't find a reason, perhaps android 4.2

ask her download benchmark and run on the phone to see the hardware =P

for rm200 i wouldn't mind buying myself, its pretty cheap for a fake phone with decent specs (assuming its dual core, etc.)
*
RM200 is a lot, not worth it. don't buy smile.gif
you never know how bad the phone gonna be.
