Not sure if anyone posted before, but for those with non-rooted device and do not like the Increasing / Ascending ring, you can download this: Disable Increasing Ring.

@brotan

Dont worry, you dont need to root to get different readings.

Dual usb with 2.1A? Cool find....

Btw, do you bring in different length cables?

Haha, now we have GCC to check incoming amps. Good idea syNzoR.

brotan Can you install Galaxy Charging Current from xda thread here and provide a readout report?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2112811
The readout will be helpful to determine the charging current received by the Note2. This will be beneficial to all of us.

Location at BU damansara, speedtest using u-mobile server

So root or no root same?

For the dual usb 2.1a port each I already got high qty of ready stock

Just wanting to test first before selling
*
Yup, you only need to root If you want to access the file that can check the charging current manually. The app directly accesses that file

PM me the price of the dual port + 1 cable.

Thanks

Oh btw, did you try charging both the tab and note at the same time and running GCC in each device respectively, and monitor if there is any fluctuation between the current or it stays at 1800 avg

I plugged in my yoobao charger with the cable that yoobao supplied into the 2a slot and my current avg is 1100. looks like it's fake advertising? Anyone here with the same battery brick and please report your findings.
*
Try with stock cable, im getting normal 1800 with 2.2a vivis powerbank.

With the powerbank cable, i only get max 1400 or less

I read from somewhere that charging speed differs on different battery %, is that why the charging current fluctuates?

Forgot where I read it from

Using ipad charger now as I sent my hissing charger to sme for replacement

Yesterday charged my phone at 2%
Charging current was 1300, wake up that time the current was at normal 1800

Now plugged in my phone at 24%, charging current is 1500.

Im not sure if it is like I mentioned earlier that different battery % lvl will receive different current, or its just the inconsistency of ipad charger..

For the battery life of 4.1.2, I think anything above 4h 30 min of SOT is normal. I prefer 4.1.2 because of the silent camera =D the battery life comapared to 4.1.1 doesnt make a big diff for me

Like someone mentioned in the previous threads, if so worried about the battery life, just charge it whenever you have the chance (in office, in car, school, college, kopitiam etc.) You will have unlimited battery juice....

Hey guys. Being patience is important. I am very new to Android. I know what is google. I am 23 and working as a QS. NOT A KULI. Watch it !

Instead of being friendly, explaining in simple manner, u guys are gwtting mad just after few questions ? Come on guys. Where is the hospitality.

Plenty things u know that I dont and vice versa. How bout we keep up a good attitude ? We should be welcoming new users for sharing n problem solving. Not to show who is smarter and put others down.

Sorry if I stepped on your toe. But my main intention is just to ex change opinions and make more friends

Cheers !

I think the kuli they mentioned is a forumer / person instead of refering to labourer..

Anyway, since you spend so much buying note 2, why not exploring it by yourself first.. do some reasearch before having others repeating the same answer over and over..

Hey guys. I am glad to be part of this forum. Nice to know you all.

To free up ram, what do you use? I use the clean master, gotaskmanager.

I prefer to always free up memory to avoid lagging. I am quite particular on that.

thanks for the findings!
let me have a look with an iPad charger tonight and see how warm and what is the GCC ratings for avg.
my car dual usb charger by ZAGG has a weirdness to it. starts at 1,698,1800,1800 then drops slowly  hmm.gif
*
Using ipad charger with stock samsung cable, i tested few days and tried on different battery percentage level

Plug in at 2% - avg 1300 mA wake up avg 1800
Plug in at 24% - avg 1500 mA wake up avg 1800
Plug in at 40% - avg 1600 mA wake up avg 1600

unlike samsung stock charger, 1800mA all the way

House voltage - 240V

Car voltage - 12V

If not mistaken, car chargers voltage will fluctuate when you step on the accelerator.

Someone told me that if you get those cheap car chargers without some sort of Voltage stabilizer, it will harm your battery in the long run

I think you need at least some form of data in order to send/receive mms

My company disabled our data for all our companies phone because of data leak (no plan), even non-smartphones can not send or receive mms.

If not mistaken, mms only started during the days where we used WAP connection
