Samsung has already pulled out the 4.1.2 update because of the battery draining issue. You are not missing anything on this 4.1.2, nothing special actually. It was just a minor update only 0.0.1 increment. Just enjoy your Note 2.

Got my N2 yesterday and just started playing around with it. Noticed at the notifcation bar can only set Sound, Vibrate or Mute. Even when I have set the Sound+vibration in the settings->sound, but the notification bar i still don see sound+vibrate that i can set, so now my calls and msg comes with sound and no vibrate.

How to enable sound+vibrate then?

Good. Maxis has started to impose quota on my plan, used to be unlimited. Now it is just 30GB, so need to plan my Internet activities.
My sisters love to stream from their Note II and iPhone, so I was thinking to stop them from doing that. Since whatever they stream, I already have a downloaded copy in my laptop, thought of sharing with them and upload to their mobile phones. So it could save my bandwidth a bit.

As long as there is no contract, they can impose it anytime they want.

Someone in Maxis thread is doing this and preparing a lawsuit against Maxis, we do however have evidence that no quota should be implemented to our plan.

even if you sign contract, usually there is also T&C which would state they can change terms & conditions anytime (possible with some notice period). usually there is also a fair usage clause.

these two is enuff to allow most telco to change and impose quota.

unifi first had quota. after kena complaint, quota was temporarily removed. if i'm not mistaken, TM have put in T&C that will allow them to impose quota at any time. but for now, i guess they will not impose any.

Actually I have no faith that the users will win, so I'm taking precautions steps now.
Like limiting usage and have another contingency plan.
