It's free, comes with the package. No need to use it if you don't want.

you may ask at TM

previously i upgrade to 4m and then 8m within 3 months, now got unifi people call me offer me for it, they said no penalty if i terminate my 8m and change to unifi

from my understanding there is a year or two for 8m promotion contract

Hey guys.

I'm on my way to upgrade my Streamyx into 8mbps (finally after 3 months I asked my parent to upgrade it). The problem is that they want to use HyppTV, but the distance between the router and TV is quite far (approx. >2 meter). And I was thinking to use homeplug powerline for the solution. But does anyone use this device, and did it worked along with Streamyx? Any reply would be appreciated. smile.gif

Ah I see. Thank you for that. But back to my question. Can I really use homeplug powerline for Streamyx? Because I want to install another wireless router at upstairs.

Homeplug works with Streamyx. Do not use it as a bridge between the ADSL modem and the wireless router where PPPoE runs and you should be OK.
