the upload speed still 512kbps for 8Mbps package?

why TM dont give higher upload speed, 512 is tooooo low compare to unifi...

unifi hypptv is on different line right? i mean for unifi 5M package, hypptv will not using the 5M bandwidth

how about 8mbps streamyx? separate bandwidth for free hypptv as wel??

thanks. My friend Unifi is using TM provided router, he said the TM contractor explicitly set one LAN port for hypptv, if I want to upgrade to 8M package, and using own router, is that ok?

but i do have friends using Unifi watching hypptv, and the unifi still fast as usual, check with speed test still reach still good.

i just want to know whether 8M streamyx is shared or separate because i wanted to upgrade my 4M

anyone upgraded from 4M to 8M using TM website?

i login and ask me to choose HyppTV package (all selection need monthly fees), i thought it comes with free 17 channel?

my area also have couples of time the cable thieves come steal the cable from the road "lubang" 100m from my house, and few times internet down. luckily my house not affected, but the housing area opposite my house all cannot access internet i think the people steal the cable is ex-worker that work on the cable, otherwise why they are so familiar with it.

apply on last Friday to upgrade, get the 8M today
cannot compare with unifi haha, my area actually have unifi, just landed property required rewiring which i dont like

nope but they didnt call me for the STB collection, i just notice they upgrade my line to 8Mbps after 1-2 working days, which is alot faster than previously I apply for upgrade from 1M to 4M which takes a week

remember to ask them for username and password for hypptv login

i got mine with user name ONLY without the @tvos after user name AND without password on the confirmation slip

end up calling hotline and get frustrated, first staff give me password did not tell me after username@tvos

username@tvos is for stremayx the second call i made

go back to TMPoint is easy

For Unifi HyppTv call 1 300 888 123
For Streamyx HyppTv call 1 300 888 12#, i forgot last number, this number is when i call 1 300 888 123, they gave me, because 1 300 888 123 only entertain HyppTv user using unifi.

When you call in, the person can check your streamyx accounts sure able to check your HyppTv account, but I call twice, first one said not able to check and transfer me to HyppTv dept, second one said he can

I suggest you go to nearest TMPoint, just provide them your streamyx username, phone line number, they should be able to assist you, calling hotline is bloody annoying, you may get phone call charges + time waiting is not short.

was thinking the Hypptv support is not mature yet.. call them before and most of them still blur

is like when Streamyx first rolled out 10years++ ago, the tech support reallt s**t

previously i upgrade to 4m and then 8m within 3 months, now got unifi people call me offer me for it, they said no penalty if i terminate my 8m and change to unifi

from my understanding there is a year or two for 8m promotion contract

how do we know Streamyx block which port?

I having problem using port 4322, which is use by Official Formula 1 app for live feed when i connect to Maxis Broadband, it is ok, change back to Streamyx, it show port 4322 error.
