Depends on yourself actually. If the existing number is nothing special for you just change it to safe all the hassle.

Have you trying the lodge a complaint before? Tribunal pengguna is something you should look at. Sometime telco provider just doesnt want to let their customer go by giving excuses.

I thought you can just go to DiGi and say you want to port over to them with your current number? Just have to settle whatever payment that you have with them (if postpaid)

Sadly, nope. It's not that easy
Need to fill in a port out form at Digi and wait for any respond from Maxis
Either it's approved or rejected is depends on Maxis
Mine have been rejected 3 times although there's nothing wrong with my number

i got 2 iPhone 6 in my family, both digi but at the same location only 1 device got LTE but another is 3G only, so will it be Digi gave me the wrong simcard?

Is your SIM card an LTE enabled one?

If you want to get extra GB with free calls & SMS, you can try RM108/5 GB data plan from DIGI. 2GB for social networking/3GB for internet. Plus you get 300 calls & 300 SMS to all telcos. smile.gif

(In case you guys don't know about this)

Well that's unfortunate. My family and i ported from Maxis to DiGi (though it was a really long time ago, and i did not handle it) due to Maxis' ridiculous charges; hidden charges lah, this and that.. To put into perspective, my usage of RM68 on DiGi is equivalent to RM156 on Maxis. Double the cost at the same usage. And i can't relate when people say that Maxis' coverage is better. Nowadays DiGi can get coverage (3G might i add) in most places. Maxis on the other hand has had several network hiccups a month back where i can't call my Maxis friends and they can't use their internet due to network issues. I've never faced such issue with DiGi.

As for you situation, i would still insist on keeping my number if i was in your shoes. You shouldn't pay the price of changing numbers just because they won't allow you to port. Take all the necessary actions and fight back. It's your right.

its rm30 rebate over 24months if youre not exceeding your quota (include call and sms) then only pay 78 permonth. rebate if only youre paying advance payment of rm720.

Previously I can get LTE on my iPhone, recently, LTE is not available anymore

Did DiGi updated their policy?

Only certain smart plan has access to LTE network or subscription is needed?

Went to Berjaya Time Square Digi Centre hoping to sign up for the i6 plan. As I was about to walk in, the digi attendant and the pak guard told me the ticketing system was down. Told me to come back in 1 hour. Sure. Went for a walk around the mall, went back after the hour and said system still down come back in 40mins. This time I was irritated.

Has anyone experience such incident before? You cannot queue because they cannot issue you a bloody ticket. There was quite a number of people sitting and queuing to be served. I don't mind queuing if the line is moving but no they said cannot. F*cking uptight sial. Did not want to waste time so took off and decided to head to Gardens instead tomorrow.
