i just had a conversation with another China guys working with antother telco.

they say the work is ...Suckx haha

it seems tat Africa is having large scale of Huawei's products....

i had been calling up for an interview in coming thursday for Datacom Engineer (Switches & Routers).

so anyone here related with this job?

and familiar with the job scope?

If im not mistaken Data-Comm related to Computer Networking

Such as, LAN/WAN/MAN/WLAN/WWAN...

U may be assign to Switches i assume Cicso/Jupitor/3Comn so on...

Datacom work for Huawei equipments like BRAS,swicthes & routers.You are expected to know TCP/IP segmentation and other protocols like OSPF,MPLS etc.

OSPF is a routing protocol which locate at network layer where SNMP is locate at applicaiton layer.

so should be not relate to SNMP.

then i think DataCom Should be work on layer 2 and 3 only.

so i will touch on Huawei router n switch instead of cisco?
