Hi,

i'm in the middle of booking focus but really confused to go for sport or sport+.. do you guys thinks its worth 13k difference for sport+?or i just get sport only?

thanks in advance!
*
the additonal items you get is worth more then 13k.

the really worth it addition is

Curtain airbags - might save your life
active stop - will save you RM$$$ if it prevents a accident
xenons - i cant imagine buying a car in 2013 that doesnt come with xenons
front parking sensor - again will save u Rm$$ if it helps prevent accident when parking

a few more things..but i dont think as important...my opinion is if you can afford it, then def get the +

Proton persona...im not saying proton better to own instead of this FOFO, im just comparing the abnormal noise(rattling) quality...
*
Agreed with you bro...although the rattling sound can be considered as minor (in my case) however i do expect more when i spent > 100k for a car

despite of gearbox jerk & clutch plate rubbing sound, this car also have rattling sound everywhere...for price >100K, does we deserve to get this? my proton doesnt have rany attling sound untill 4-5yrs.....in term of performance, can say, a 1.6 NA car with skill driver still can tailgating you, ....technology wise, mmmm...park assist?city stop?haha.....not so proud owning it....
*
The only noise I hear now are the clutch sounds. No rattling so far and mileage is at 1500km. The jerkings at low gears have also already improved significantly.

I think the only 1.6NA car that can tailgate is a Civic with a B16A engine so you're either seriously exaggerating here or your heart probably wanted another car in the first place. sad.gif

Sauna in car  brows.gif

I think with that kind of performance from 1.6 turbo for Kuga should be enough for daily usage. I don't think it would be underpowered. Then again, it's only on

paper specs. Have to test drive and see how it performs.  icon_rolleyes.gif

agree rclxms.gif , heather will make you feel sit inside a sauna room .
dont know y they have this type of feature at malaysia, they should put cool air ventilated seat for more comfortable

I got two promos from either Groupon or another discount coupon site (can't remember which).. the deals were similar. The first one refunded the purchase because they said the response was overwhelming.... so can't tell you if that would have been good or not. The second one did as advertised, but the quality was only so-so. In fact, when I got back I noticed they had actually slightly scratched my car in two places with their polisher (!).

This time round when I get my Fofo (the waiting's killing me!) it will go to a car wash I have been using for the last few weeks.... the workers there seem to do their job carefully. After discount, it should be RM80 (wash, clay, wax x 2, sealant).

Do you really need to have your new car polished after 6k? Shouldn't a good wax job be sufficient?

Do you still get that low speed erratic gear shifting at this mileage?

ooo.... I guess it would depend on how deep the scratches are....

From what I could read from other Ford forums, the suspension systems for the sports and sedan are actually identical; except they "configured" the damping of the sports model to be harder.... they also mention that the lower profile tyres of the sports model contribute to a harder ride as well, so it's difficult to tell exactly to what extent the tuning is done.

I think it can be consider as minor scratch only...maybe i will try with waxxing first since its cheaper... wink.gif

I havent try any sedan at the moment...i own the hb and for me i still can tolerate with the suspension plus the handling is superb IMO.

i guess the harder ride of the hb can be reduce by pump less pressure into 4tyres..any1 try b4?

umm.... I think generally it isn't advisable to keep your tyres below the specified pressure. Your fuel consumption and tyre wear will go through the roof.

If you are drag racing, then a totally different matter.... biggrin.gif

My clocked 1.6k km now. Gear hunting at low speed and shuddering still happen especially after a long traffic jam drive and route. Highway is oerfectly ok and shift lot smoother. Did you upgrade the latest gearshift software? The one that released on may 2013?

You'll notice a significant reduction of the shuddering after 3,000 km.

I'm approaching 4,000 km now and I hardly even feel it anymore.

Anyone here experiencing problems with their front windscreen tinting? I just got my front windscreen re-tinted due to too many small little bubbles, especially near the rear view mirror where there is a big block of sensors. And on my second time, I am still dissatisfied and the boss has agreed to let me come back again another day.

If no one else has this problem, then it is seriously their skills' problem..

I'm using Vkool Elite for the front and Huper Optik for the sides.
