ah didnt know there's a difference, if any.

When i mentioned the possibility of paying quarterly (Aeon Watami! icon_idea.gif), he mentioned to pay RM3k, so i think it's same between monthly or quarterly.

I'll ask again. Also wanted to know from him what is the auto-debit schedule for monthly/quarterly payment. If it's based on specific date, then at least i can plan out the card's registration.

For Prudential, as far as I know, there is no difference whether you pay monthly, quarterly or annually.
For Great Eastern, though, they charge a 7% additional surcharge for monthly premiums, compared to annual.

I speak from personal experience, as currently I have both.

i think it's based on your insurance plan instead of insurance company.
i have more than 5 policies under my name with different insurance companies.
although i have some different insurance plans are under the same insurance company, but only one of the plan can be paid either monthly/quarterly/annually without additional surcharge.

Is the insurance monthly/yearly premium payment being considered as part of the quarterly 3% rebate ?
*
I have checked with the Aeon credit service personnel and she mentioned that "Insurance auto debit" and "bill payment" is not included for the 3% cash rebate.

As usual, AEON Customer Service is bunch of zero-knowledge robots. I'm getting Quarterly 3% from Insurance Auto-Debit

Should have check LYN instead of checking with their CS. Thanks guys, thinking of getting this card then since this 3% is the next next best card to M2cards and PBB 6% CB card.

yes, this is definitely a great card if you are using it with a minimum of rm3k per quarter, as the 3% includes all categories (except petrol).

You can't... you need to apply the NEW AEON Gold/Classic Credit Card to get your Bonus Points transferred to your AEON MEMBER point

Looking at the low rate of points redemption (RM30 cash rebate for RM7,500 spent, 0.4%), I presume most of you use this watami card for normal spending and once you hit the RM5k for a quarter, you dont use this card even if you are spending at Aeon?
