Hi Ronnie and fellow friends,
Just want to confirm, is the email cc_cad@aeonmalaysia.com.my correct?
I email my balance transfer request to this email address last Friday 11am, but I still do not received any verification call from AEON yet.
I tried to call them just now, they said they do not use this email, and ask me to send to customer.service@aeonmalaysia.com
But now they said they do not received anything yet...
Any other way to submit the request other than email, is it FAX works too?
Thank you for your reply  notworthy.gif

Both emails are correct.
Just wait until Monday.... else just drop them another email. Fax is also another method.

Sorry for noob question,
1) May I know is the transfer amount for Balance Transfer must be exact amount from the transfer Bank A?
i.e. Current balance from Bank A = RM1023.44, transfer amount must be = RM1023.44?
Can I put the transfer amount = RM1100?
2) From your experience, when you received the payment to Bank A, after AEON approved the Balance Transfer? As I know 15 business days, will it take more/less than the day?
i.e. BT Approve on 26/5/2014, payment will be made to Bank A on 13/6/2014 OR earlier OR later?
Appreciate your sharing, thank you! notworthy.gif

1) No... AEON will NOT allow BT more than the Statement Balance

2) AEON issues cheque to pay the other bank. So they will courier the cheque. At most 5 working days after the cheque is issued.

Thinking to apply this card to use their BT service.

Mind to tell roughly how long it takes to proceed the application?

just back from talking with Prudential agent (a friend), he recommended a quite decent coverage with premium of RM1k/month.

finallly now i have a reason to use Aeon Watami card: new insurance policy.

seeking some suggestion: would it be best to pay the premium on quarterly or monthly basis...using Watami card?

Monthly premium payment:

My plan is to get the card first (~2 weeks), then get the insurance (another 2 weeks). hope the 1st premium charge is within 1st month of watami card too, so that i can sync the RM3k/quarter spending.

Advantage: RM1k/mth charge, extra fund and breathing room for ad-hoc use.
Disadvantage: I need to pay extra RM1x3 months for bill payment from M2U -> Aeon.

Quarterly premium payment:

Basically no need to worry if the particular quarter has hit RM3k, cuz once the premium kicked in, it'll automatically entitle me the 3% cashback.

Advantage: I only need to pay RM1 for bill payment. (assuming i dont have other spending on other months).
Disadvantage: One lump sum of RM3k/quarter.

any suggestions? smile.gif much thanks!

did your prudential agent friend calculated the price difference of the premium based on annually/quarterly/monthly? some insurance company charges 7% higher than the annual amount if you choose to pay quarterly or monthly.

ah didnt know there's a difference, if any.

When i mentioned the possibility of paying quarterly (Aeon Watami! icon_idea.gif), he mentioned to pay RM3k, so i think it's same between monthly or quarterly.

I'll ask again. Also wanted to know from him what is the auto-debit schedule for monthly/quarterly payment. If it's based on specific date, then at least i can plan out the card's registration.

if that's the case, it simply means that if you pay annually then the premium will be cheaper than rm1k/month. nod.gif

yes, the main issue is the price difference between annually premium vs quarterly/monthly. i'm afraid that it won't be any worth for you if you don't choose to pay annually (meaning that when the quarterly/monthly is more than 3% of annually). icon_rolleyes.gif

others are just minor issues which i believe you can handle well. wink.gif

From what i know, if it is an investment link insurance product, the premium is still same.
The premium basically would be higher a little than your require pay amount, and the remaining would be convert to 'cash value' in seperate account. So, when you opt for different payment frequency other than annually, insurance company basically would charge some % when convert to cash value.

It seems no different for us, but our cash value will grow slower for not pay annually
For GE, it was 5% for monthly, 3% for quarterly, 2% for half-yearly and 0% for annually.

correctly if i am wrong. biggrin.gif

i not sure exactly but i believe there is.
why? because everywhere in aeon or aeon big where you can sign up for aeon cc, there surely have one epf kiosk beside their booth. i believe that's a must for them since they don't take your salary slips. anyway, the main concern is whether the epf kiosk is working or not when you are there. lol...
