IBG would be the cheapest payment method theseday, but watami not support sad.gif
yes, you are correct. payment charge would be rm0.50 - rm1.50 depend on different portal.
even want to pay cash on counter also troublesome as ATM per transaction maximum only rm1500, will need to withdraw multiple times

Currently paying RM1 for payment for Watami card every month through Public Bank online portal.
But that's a small price to pay for getting RM50 cash back every month.

Yes, new to forum & blog.
Currently 200 for medical and 300 for saving. Recently considering getting another saving plan about this HLB "ever gain" but not sure will it charge under retail insurance and get the 3%.

Wow, your insurance is only RM500 per YEAR?
Not sure how old you are, but that seems rather too low and probably inadequate, especially for your medical insurance?

i think everyone is shocked with your insurance. is it really rm500 per year? my own insurance (not including provided by company and not including my wife's or children's) is already more than rm10k per year. blink.gif  shocking.gif

Yeah, sounds about right......same here.
My own insurance is around RM10k per year.

Haha.. Sorry for the confusion. The amount I posted was per month, did miss out the "pr yr"
Was paying 200 per month hence 2.4k for medical/life (in the annual statement said not full 2.4k in medical so I can't claim all on my tax, so considering top up after research on LYN)
and 3600 per annual (current pay by annual but if getting this watami card will recalculate see if quarterly payment cost me more than the rebate)

Also plan to invest 500-1k per month for this HLB "ever gain", which smth like buying fund at a certain price and promise when maturity pay at peak price in history of their price and free 6+years life insurance.

But still wonder is this consider fund or insurance or retail spending ? Anyone Please help clarify ? Thanks in advance~

Honestly, I don't know what category this would fall under, but, from my own personal experience, I'd say don't mix up your insurance and investments in the same vehicle.
Insurance companies are good at what they do, and so are investment companies, but I wouldn't trust either of them to do both.
Make sure that you are adequately and properly insured, then educate yourself in financial knowledge and do your investments yourself, separately.
Just my 2 cents.

ah didnt know there's a difference, if any.

When i mentioned the possibility of paying quarterly (Aeon Watami! icon_idea.gif), he mentioned to pay RM3k, so i think it's same between monthly or quarterly.

I'll ask again. Also wanted to know from him what is the auto-debit schedule for monthly/quarterly payment. If it's based on specific date, then at least i can plan out the card's registration.

For Prudential, as far as I know, there is no difference whether you pay monthly, quarterly or annually.
For Great Eastern, though, they charge a 7% additional surcharge for monthly premiums, compared to annual.

I speak from personal experience, as currently I have both.

As usual, AEON Customer Service is bunch of zero-knowledge robots. I'm getting Quarterly 3% from Insurance Auto-Debit

Your remark made me laugh.
Zero-knowledge robots indeed. thumbup.gif
Anyway, great to have someone personally confirm that they are getting the rebates!
I'm waiting for mine to come soon... biggrin.gif

i think it's based on your insurance plan instead of insurance company.
i have more than 5 policies under my name with different insurance companies.
although i have some different insurance plans are under the same insurance company, but only one of the plan can be paid either monthly/quarterly/annually without additional surcharge.

Yes, my policies between Prudential and Great Eastern are different vehicles, so I think you're probably right there.
