Hi, juz for sharing my story. Thanks for reading.
Own 3yrs old Potong BLM. No comment on performance. Last 2 days i got a shock! Unable to start my car. What the hack! Juz changed battery a month ago. Never missed any services from P service centre before. All the time fully syn oil. Call SC and they ask me to tow my car to their place and for checking. Lazy to call insurance company for free towing. So... juz went Ah Kaw workshop and ask them to come to my house. He tried to jump start. No progress.... Connected to his tester/diagnose kit and reset everything. Ta da... My car back to normal liao. Asked him to confirm is there any error or part failure. Showed the screen to me. No failure detected. Why? Ah Kaw said to me. This is normal for Campro Engine. Paid 40 and thank him.
Next day, my fren Potong Exora 1.5 yrs also unable to start. Called me for help. I ask Ah Kaw to help him. Guess what? He did the same thing. Juz reset and Ta da... can start liao. He paid him 60 smile.gif
Ha..ha.. I know the trick now. Keep Ah Kaw HP number.

Anyone knows what is the problem here sad.gif
Ah Kaw told me Campro engine behave like this. Suka hati. Ah Kaw is cheating me here? Or is it true?

I think the 2nd one. But Ah Kaw did check the fuel pump is ok. Juz located below rear seat. Got fuel flowing out sad.gif. After connected to test/diagnose kit and reset all in good condition liao sad.gif

Wondering also. Ah Kaw said this to me. The sound like putus timing belt... I am not very sure abt it. sad.gif

Thanks for replying smile.gif. Ah Kaw tested this too. He wuekekeke for abt 10~20 seconds but still cannot start. But he never disconnect the batt.

This type of problem mostly affecting those cars fitted with variable intake system(different than valve timing system - MIVEC/VTEC/VVTi/CPS). When AFM(Air Fuel Module) start to fail, engine choke, hard to crank start after too long rest/engine hot, power surge(torque dipping) is the common symptoms. If worst, it can lead to blown gasket as purge valve may start to purge off too much fuel than air. When engine running lean, engine will develop high heat symptoms as a beginning. If after flushed radiator also not improving, its time to take a look at the AFM liao. If lucky, just replace the purge valve and things will get normal.

I only managed to put my hands on very little amount of newer cars. Since ayam not savvy with EFi cars, I guess that's all I can tell. From what I heard, BLM pre 2010 tend to have this kinda problem. I take a wild guess, may be the car for 2010 is still new. Who knows the next 1 will be me.... CHOOOOI!!!!!! shakehead.gif

Thanks for giving this infor to me. I think this is very useful for me.
My case is first time i actually can start the car but steering vibrate very wild and engine Mati(abt 5 seconds) after that. Thenafter, I switch off and reengage the ACC and start it again. All the time wuekekeke and No hope liao.

Based on the infor here. May i know what is the correct way to wuekekeke my Potong BLM so that this issue wont happen again? Feel shame to ask this question sad.gif Thanks for helping me.
Can we wuekekeke our Potong BLM more than 10 seconds without pressing fuel pedal?

After over flowed, spark became very weak. So even u started the car ady it may still die off. And, rev engine after start ONLY applicable when overflow/not enough petrol.

Case to case basis, only if you have this problem only you continue crank.
