Note 10.1 uses exynos 5?didn't know that,BTW s3 and note 2 has similar specs,but difference huge or not?cause in my eyes,they're like brothers

got some problem with 4.1.2 malaysia stock rom
upgrading from 4.1.1 stock ...my ripple effect color not working and my wifi also cant detect properly ..already doing clear cache and reset phone
any ideas? ..as now i'm downgrading back to 4.1.1

My understanding is that easiest way is using "ExynosAbuse apk" to root then do EFS Backup.

In case i need to go for warranty claim, i need to unroot and reset counter before going.

is this the most common method used by member here or other method?

This method is no longer valid if you are on 4.1.2 Malaysian Rom.

If you are not on DLL7, then you can use Exynos abuse. Yes, your process is correct.

one shit thing about the upgrades is the ink effect only works for S Pen...

Ink effects only with spen. Wifi i dunno some people also having this issue.

The most important about the update is it fixes the Exynos leak bug. And maybe also the emmc brick bug.

Ok, which one is most easiest and safest? and easy to revert back in case need to go claim warranty, please help, i am really confuse reading the xda site, it has link to many many other ways to do many things.

what i want is to root the device to be able to install some app that require root.

i see ..but it seem that if i try omega rom it work with hand also ..maybe because custom rom
but omega rom dont have wifi problem at least on version 9.1

I use the chenglu method. Revert is use triangle away, flash stock rom with odin, factory reset.
