App for those who like to click on Settings:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/easi...-hive-settings/ Do you want to quickly access and change all your Android settings from one place? While Android’s default settings interface does give you access to all your device settings, this is spread inside different hierarchical sections, making it a bit of a hassle to quickly get to the setting you wish to modify. That’s why many people use widgets to toggle basic settings quickly, and almost all third-party ROMs include some form of notification bar settings toggle customization. |

QUOTE(tanlipseong @ Jan 10 2013, 10:56 PM) Thanks for the link, My understanding is that easiest way is using "ExynosAbuse apk" to root then do EFS Backup. So much information, need lots of reading for me, have just skim through, 1/2 of it i don't understand, susah. hope i dont screw up my note 2. In case i need to go for warranty claim, i need to unroot and reset counter before going. is this the most common method used by member here or other method? |

This method is no longer valid if you are on 4.1.2 Malaysian Rom.In case i need to go for warranty claim, i need to unroot and reset counter before going. is this the most common method used by member here or other method? |

Yes, your process is correct. In case i need to go for warranty claim, i need to unroot and reset counter before going. is this the most common method used by member here or other method? |

I use the chenglu method. Revert is use triangle away, flash stock rom with odin, factory reset.what i want is to root the device to be able to install some app that require root. |
