Specs wise, I find Note II's specs are superb with super good battery life.
Built quality, it looks good in my eyes. Everyone has different expectations though.

U cant compare note 2 with nexus 10 ...... both are different category . If u wanna compare , Note 10.1 with nexus 10 , that's more like it . Overall , Note 2 are among the best for performance so far including battery life . If u prefer something smaller , SGS3 LTE for the RAM increased compared to normal i9300 . Battery wise , definitely not as good as Note 2
