Hi Irfan2397, after you switch to repeater, log in the router using Internet browser by typing 192.168.1.1.

Default user name and password is "admin"/"admin".

After log in you will be in repeater mode, you are require to search for the network that you want to repeat and connect to it. Once connected, you are done setting up the repeater.

Thank you

Hi,

I just purchased the RT-N16 from Viewnet Lowyat and according the sales person there, he told me that this is usable with unifi. However after setting it up at home and keying in all the necessary credentials, i don't seem to be able to connect to unifi. I also went to your download site to get the latest firmware but it doesn't work.

Could you please advise me what to do next?

Hi bakuteh, have your select your ISP profiles under the IPTV at LAN section? You an select it also when you setting up the router. When selecting the connection type, at the bottom there got a check box when you tick it, a list of ISP will pop out at right side. Select your ISP and follow the step to finish the setup.

Thank you

Just out of curiosity - is there a proper way to turn off the router? Currently I just switch off the mains when I want to do some changes to my USB modem.. after I switch back on the router didnt recognize the attached USB HDD (it said its unmounted) and USB modem until I do a complete factory reset..

Hi bo093, it seen like the firmware is the latest already. Can I ask have you try to do a factory reset and redo the setting and see the problem still persist or not?

Thank you

I tried factory reset and restore the settings. Doesn't work.
Where can I send for warranty? The shop I bought is @ Wangsa Maju, but lived @ Puchong. sweat.gif

Thanks for the reply.

Hi bo093, can you pm me your DSL-N12 serial number? I can help check whether your place is near to our distributor or not. If further than Wangsa Maju, then sorry that you need to send back to them to do the warranty claim.

Thank you

Greetings ASUSmy,
I'm using DSL-N12U and its working perfectly.
I was wondering when this modem will receive next firmware with USB-HDD support?
I already ask from official Asus forum and they confirm the firmware will arrive, just they have not sure when.

Any clue for this?

Yep support, especially DSL-N12U B1 (IDK about non-B1 version)
using e367 quite good.
Not tested with 4G Wimax and LTE because dont have any.

Cons:
1. There is no signal strength shown.
2. No Plug-and-play when using 2 type connect. Eg:

Streamyx - primary
Maxis 3G - backup / secondary
that such setup require you to reboot your modem for at least one minute especially when you want to switch from ADSL to 3G and vice versa.

Hi takr, the proper way to unmount an USB device is by ejecting the USB device which is located at the top right of the router interface.

Try see is the problem still happen or not.

Hi

I bought RT-N12 C1 recently and upgraded to the latest firmware. Everything is working fine except somehow I can't add additional SSID. There is no "ADD" button by the side of SSID. Anyone has any idea how do I enable multiple SSID for this model?

FYI.. I am using this Router as Access Point. Is this the cause of this issue?
