im using torco 5W-40 on my car now. clocked 87K on odo

performance increased a lot compared to the previous 0w-20 oil from honda. fc also increase but jz slightly

Hey, since you brought your own engine oil to service I have a question that is it won't void our car warranty if we not using Honda engine oil?

QUOTE(ascll @ Oct 29 2013, 09:12 PM)
Thanks for sharing  biggrin.gif
Let us know the result once you changed to 5W-40

Finally 20k service on Friday booked appointment on 11am reach on time but due to too many people only done at 4pm wasted all my time just sitting there and wait got nothing to do doh.gif Changed from 0W-20 to 5W-40 and after 2 days of inspection, the car response get quicker and FC only slightly increase. The response to me is wow but not OMG lol, VTEC kick in more easily compare to last time when I was using 0W-20. Conclusion car response get more instant VTEC kick in easily and FC only get slightly increase.

Between for reference my 20k service include balancing alignment & rotation, 0W-20 engine oil, oil filter, gear oil, air filter and air con filter total RM600++. I removed the aircon filter which already cost RM180 itself, left RM400++ but change from 0W-20 to 5W-40 which the final price is RM500++. Now pocket bleeding already sweat.gif

Same here, mine got stolen for the second time recently. vmad.gif

I think it's better to get them replace as soon as possible as it's raining everyday lately, else the exposed bolt and nut will get rusted soon.

Hi,

I’m thinking to have 3M carbon fiber vinyl to cover up the mirrors and the black plastic at doors’ edge.

Anyone did this?
Mind to share where to get the genuine 3M vinyl in KL/Selangor?

About 70% highway 30% city drive?
What engine oil you are currently using?

I'm on 0W20 now, Shell 95 around 340KM, 11.8km/l, 75% City 25% Highway.
Shell tends to give slight better FC (Around 10-15km more) but can feel the lose of power and torque.

before the 1st service, i was having bad experience with Shell

Thus, i decided to try Shell again after my 1st service (cheapest mineral w30), and i have the same conclusion as you, more mileage at the expense of power/torque

70% , not really full highway, is the coastal road i use back to my hometown, puncak alam- kuala selangor-sekinchan-teluk intan- manjung..if one is familiar with the way. around 15-20 traffic lights total

I plan to do the same but will less noticeable carbon fiber pattern. Maybe something dark. The rubber got all worn out and ugly already due to the long exposure under the sun sad.gif

Let me know when you've done yours.

What is the different between "3M gloss" and "3M carbon vinyl"?

Is your 3M sticker still in GOOD condition after 2 years?

Mind to share where you (which shop) did it?
