There are 2 solutions:
1. change to better tires
2. do the front wheel arch soundproofing with STP Mastic or other brands - wanted to do, but no money  tongue.gif

bro, problem is afraid if i change the tires still same problem...but hor just use less than 1 yr....change tires....16" tires is expensive....

I guess wheel arches soundproof is a better solution. Maybe we should arrange a small group purchase at KL Auto. tongue.gif
*
yes maybe we could...but i did asked them already wheel arch soundproof...frm RM200 per wheel....maybe will be going there to visit them to get advise....might consider to start with front wheel arch first =)

Joking aside, I don't see anything wrong with trying to improve the NVH of our car if you got the budget for it. Its a matter of priority. Some people might prefer to mod their ride with nicer rim, body kit etc, some just use the car stock standard for the rest of its life.

I drove 160KM average on a daily basis so I rather improve the NVH of my ride than any cosmetic stuff for now.

p/s - The 6 speaker does sound really good, so that really helps to reduce the tyre noise for a while  biggrin.gif

yeah....i understand blasting the music will save my money....but how long can i blast the music....will still hurt my ears...imaging if going for road trip 3-4 hrs....i rather try to improve my ride =)

hi guys.. i just did autofoam to my 09 NHC last monday and i would said it does help on the NVH reduction (depends on wut package that u take). Besides this, the foam does help to improve the car handling significantly. now i'm find my car is more fun to drive and i can take those steep corner with more confidence. Remember, the autofoam doesn't only reduces the NVH of your car. It also helps to stiffen your car chasis and it makes u feel lesser body roll when ur taking corners..

overall i would said the money spent in KL Auto is worth every penny and do give Desmond a call and tell him what u want for your car and he'll suggest a good solution for u.

i'm not advertising for Desmond here but just my honest comparison before and after i did the Auto Foam to my City.

cheers..

hey....i actually did autofoam on the 8th march and went back for cleaning last saturday...hahhahaa....i did comfort package...

front and back bonnet of your car.... he'll tell u how to eliminate the source of noise at ur ear levels then only to go after the rest.. kinda addictive and for sure i'll go back to do up the luxurious package soon.. haha (my wallet bleeding heavily again).
*
I'm thinking to go for boot and hood next....one step at a time....
but soundproof the bood lid will cause the most....

To be honest, I don't fee much different after doing the boot and hood.. huhu. Very little improvement I guess, or maybe my expectation is a bit higher.
*
is it....gosh....then i gotta think twice....
but he said boot lid soundproof is the major ones will make the difference....
i think rm1.5k+
maybe boot n hood not much difference....

Same here, mine got stolen for the second time recently.  vmad.gif

I think it's better to get them replace as soon as possible as it's raining everyday lately, else the exposed bolt and nut will get rusted soon.
*
bro....im parking at the same open parking i think if i replace still will be hilang again =(
only can buy from SC? no other place?

I'm pretty sure fully-syn cost 70 - 80 more compared to mineral. Semi to fully is around 20 - 30 difference.
*
i always leave my car at service centre and they change fully syn oil for me...but i service gotta service before even reached 5 k each time cause i drive lesser. Would like to know which is better mineral or semi syn for low mileage user? i just realized my car fuel consumption sucks even using full syn...my car already at 21k mileage. in july reached 2 yrs d.

Mineral chg every 5k km bro...
Low mileage, use semi syn...
Waste use fully syn coz u're not fully utilize the benefit of fully
Waste money also coz chg it early
*
i did not check...okay will take note to asked for semi syn. i have to change when the date due instead of the mileage due if not honda not allow the free labour thing that im still entitled.
