I have read the post #1 & 2, it mentioned that we will get the rebate.. but in real situation I did not get the cash back..So just curious.. sad.gif
This transaction was made on march 29 and posting on 1 april..until now still did not receive any rebate
*
in your case, the cash back will be given in May provided the transaction date falls on 30 or 31 mac and posting date in april

transaction date = sat, sun confirmed will get 5%
posting date and transaction date in the SAME month, you will get the cash back next month after posting date's month
posting date in different month from transaction date, you will also get the cash back next month after posting date's month

get it?

MAC 29 IS NOT WEEKEND!

Sorry.. is 31 March

But in fact I did not receive the rebate so far... already 12 May... rclxub.gif So i do not sure whether if maybank has missed out the cash back payout or the cash back is based on posting date...

I think its because you take the card yourself.

In my case, I can see the card list on m2u even before the card arrived by post.

i took my card myself at gardens maybankard centre, used it on the same day, got back home and automatically can see on my m2u at night hmm.gif

Can't make up my mind if I should redeem 10k TP or pay RM 50 for GST.
Once my card was approved, Maybank waived for me for free, due to invitation, I think a one-time off promotion.

Then last year I redeemed 10k TP for my GST.

Ever since I got my OCBC Ti, I seldom use my Maybank because my transactions occur on weekdays mostly. So, now my points only 30k TP. laugh.gif

guys, yesterday I go dine in at Kenny Rogers and I paid using Amex. They a bit late settling my bill and when they came to get my signature they said sorry for the late because using Amex on weekend got 10% discount.

Just now, when I check my transactions, I notice they charged me 2 times, 1 with no discount and other with the 10% discount.

what should I do now? just wait for the no discount charge to be credited back to me or call Maybank?

Thanks!

No, only posting date is relevance for 5% cash back.
Seem we don't have much control over this. But, usually, large merchant posted in the same day as transaction.

When we a regular at one merchant, we can already predict their posting day.
For example, a Petronas near my home will post a day after the transaction. To be able to get the rebate, I pump my car either on Friday or Saturday.
*
from my experience, its all Transaction Date and not Posting Date hmm.gif
