Bro, RM400 oklah since you get to check in luggage for FREE, hahaha

Agreed. But it becomes RM2k when traveling with the family. I'm cheap biggrin.gif and trying to plan for my Xinjiang trip, might just bite the bullet and do it this time biggrin.gif

Hi,

does anyone know is it possible to redeem enrich miles from CC to another person's enrich account?

for example, my husband want to redeem enrich miles with his credit card to my Enrich account?

thanks!

Some banks can some cannot.

Long ago managed to transfer convert my Maybank TP to my son's Enrich account. Now, they only allows me to transfer to my Enrich Account as they will ask for the name.

Just instruct your husband to call CS and see what happens.

Most banks are strict now and won't allow this. However your husband can buy tickets for you from his Enrich account, so no need to transfer to you, just transfer to his Enrich account and he buys the ticket.

Note this won't be efficient if your balance is non-zero.

Can you get same enrich points if you take the code share with cathay pacific?

seat comfort wise same.

if u take MH, u enjoy 15% off via booking online
if u take code share, u need to call in, I never try before. However CX do not apply fuel surcharge for Asean, u might better in saving in term of enrich+less tax

MAS terminating direct flights to Maldives as of this week. Seems like they swapped positions with AirAsia who just started direct flights. It just gets worse.

Closing down MH indeed save a lot of taxpayer money

Given that they are already paying quite some money to be part of One World, seems logical and a strategic move for them to close down theirs and use the shared one. This is more so if the shared one is better than the Golden Lounge (no idea about this).

By the way, I just got upgraded into Enrich Silver. Anything I should look forward to? Also, the membership will last till end of next year (2016), right? At the same time, I am suppose to clock up 25,000 miles or 30 trips to maintain it for 2017, right? Sorry for the noob question.

I actually read 3/4 long article from this Gen X uncle. My eyes and brains need more time to process.

It's fun having to know the benefits you can garnish and gain from this but the annual income requires is 180k ..

That sucks, not earning so much in life. But great article, thumbs up, hope i earn more money then i can read and apply! lmao!

Obviously you have not read enough.

If you are existing Maybank card holder, you are qualified to hold it as long as you have 30k credit limit.

Don't have 30k CL? Pledge with FD then.

If there is a will, there is a way

They didn't checked the enrich owner's name with the name on your boarding pass?

Well, more importantly, Enrich Silver doesn't give you the privilege access to Golden Lounge leh, only Gold and Platinum can access. Just got my Silver card, only benefit is the 'premium' check-in for luggage and also on-boarding. Nothing else significant.
