Sadly is not fully flat bed and I read some pretty bad reviews for their biz class seats on their A330s..

Why do you prefer red eye flights?

KL - OSAKA only, RM 68.90 to be exact.

Osaka - KL i paid about 15k Yen

when i book AAX it was on promo to Nagoya, they've cancelled it and placed me on the same night flight.

I believe for MAS only one flight a day to Osaka.

Ya bro just checked, return is 55k + rm157.
Downside of this offer is it will be freaking hot during summer. But still a good deal nonetheless.

I've done red eye flights from Beijing to KL on the A330, the angle flat is about as bad as the ones on the MH 772 ie. it's good for relaxing, not great for sleeping.

I don't think there's much choice if you want to fly MH though, have not tried JAL's sky suite on their 767 from KUL-NRT yet.

But weird thing is for the same dates I searched, the tax for biz return and economy+biz is the same rm157

cannot be, fare are 'paid' by Enrich Miles. Extra are surcharges and tax. I believe is their system error cause airport tax in Japan are not cheap.

Maybank just launched a new MAS-Amex card, free 8x lounge visit, I assume it's the MAS golden lounge instead of the PPL. Anybody up for it? Targetted towards business users though.

But only RM5 spend = 1 Enrich mile

A few observations:

1. Annual fee is RM500 per year

2. Lounge access is after you "renew" your Card membership. Does this mean we don't get it for the 1st year?

3. 1 enrich mile every RM5 is a pretty bad, compared to CIMB or even Maybank's own Premiere Card, both roughly 1 enrich mile per RM1 spent. Granted Premiere is RM800 per year compared to RM500 but it's also more flexible with transfers to AM and KF. With the 100% bonus it is a tiny bit better, but still nasty.

4. depending on the terms & conditions, the 5% off could pay off the RM500 fee if you spend RM10k or more on international airfare each year.

Overall not a card I'd be willing to use for daily spend. I'd take it for a year, get my 10k Enrich Miles and move on to the next card after this.

Might go down to the Maybank branch to find out

Looking at the few posts u've written, enrich miles ain't really the best anymore and if they remove their A380 nothing much to look forward to anymore. Am not qualified for the premier cards yet so still looking for an alternative card.

Yeah I don't think the card is worth the hassle.

10K enrich mile also not so great compared to the 60k offer from Citibank last time.

still ok la cause i don't think recently any bank was as generous as citibank 60k promo.

Don't forget Maybank will impose gst on the redemption...
