captain, i just realized redeem business class using EM to London require 2.7k tax while Paris is only 1.85k. Nearly RM1k difference.

bro MAS use A380 for both Paris and London, 777-200 for Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

I play a little with the system with business class; seems like to all 4 europe destination if you buy 1 way ticket from KL to respective destinations the tax is flat at RM740.

The difference is coming back
1. London - 352.25 GBP
2. Paris - 235.54 EURO
3. Frankfurt - 222.69 EURO
4. Amsterdam - 171.70 EURO

So it doesn't matter where you fly into but get out from Amsterdam for cheapest tax at RM15xx. or if you insist A380 the best is return ticket via Paris Rm18xx

I'd be a enrich pauper at year end. Have decided to use miles to upgrade to 1st class kul-cdg and at the meantime earn 2x miles on c class this july.

How Many Miles or Points Do I Need for Suites?
It depends of course on the route. Here are the one way and round-trip amounts at the Saver level, including the 15% discount you receive when booking online:
New York (JFK) to Singapore: 187,000 miles roundtrip, 93,500 miles one way
Los Angeles (LAX) to Singapore via Tokyo: 182,750 miles roundtrip, 91,375 miles one way
San Francisco (SFO) to Singapore via Hong Kong: 182,750 miles roundtrip, 91,375 miles one way

Expect to pay ~$700 in taxes on the LA and San Francisco to Singapore roundtrips, and almost $900 in taxes for NYC-Singapore roundtrip.
Or, if you're not traveling all the way to Singapore, here are the amounts to the stops en route:
New York to Frankfurt: 114,750 miles roundtrip, 57,375 miles one way
Los Angeles to Tokyo: 148,750 miles roundtrip, 74,375 miles one way
San Francisco to Hong Kong: 140,250 miles roundtrip, 70,125 miles one way

The stopover is something like 90 mins to 2 hrs. For them to clear up the cabin and refuel. You just need to disembark the cabin to chill for 2 hrs at the terminal. No check out required.

Krisflyer saver awards if round trip does allow one stopover. The Krisflyer program guide has details.
If you have a Krisflyer account you can poke around and select KUL as your originating airport. I think they require slightly more miles leaving from KUL compared to SIN, have to look at my previous KF redemption to see the difference.

The biggest problems with Krisflyer is it's really really hard to get availability on some routes eg. to/from JFK. YQ + tax also tends to be more expensive, Enrich KUL-LHR on business costs ~RM2400 in YQ + taxes, SQ KF KUL-SIN-LHR return on business is closer to RM3200.

For me SQ KF is definitely worth it simply because they fly to so many more places than MH, especially LAX/IAH/JFK for me.

Just receive email from Enrich. The following sentence is exciting 
"After our recent well-received Enrich Hearts Australia campaign, we are set to roll out another redemption campaign with discounts up to 50%."

From what I remember its all increased 

Zone 5 first class return from 320,000 to 520,000
Zone 5 business class return from 110,000 to 150,000
Zone 5 economy class return from 60,000 to 65,000

What is your objective? If you're planning to redeem for award tickets and those 130k miles are not deep discount economy I recommend banking those miles with AAdvantage. AAdvantage has a far better redemption rate compared to Qatar or MH.

One way business KUL-LHR/CDG/AMS = 55k AAdvantage or 75k Qmiles
One way business KUL-JFK/LAX = 55k AAdvantage (~$50 in taxes/fees) or 95k Qmiles
One way first class KUL-JFK/LAX = 67.5k AAdvantage vs. 142.5k Qmiles
One way business DOH-KUL = 30k AAdvantage (~$25 in taxes/fees) or 50k QMiles

I've booked the last two before, planning to go to Europe sometime this year with my leftover AAdvantage miles. Taxes and fees are also pretty reasonable.

The key thing is your 130k miles flown on either MH or QR are not deep discount economy which only earn 25-50% miles.

Sadly Maybamk remains the best option we have in term of miles reward. Until then they are likely to retain many of the customer base.
$2950 for 160k AA miles, what sort of flight or distance we are looking at?

I called the number at the back of my MBB credit card and enquired. First call, they told me to contact Asia Miles, which I did. Asia Miles told me no, I had to talk to MBB so I called again and a third+fourth time. Every time I was politely told that they will call me back with an answer. They never did. It was on the last call that they informed that I was not on the list of cardmembers eligible for the bonus miles. They also kept repeating about the 1 million mile cap in the t&c. I said the cap was irrelevant as I redeemed so early and that I thought it was extremely unfair for them to induce people to redeem with juicy promises of 33% bonuses and give no credible explanation when no bonus miles are awarded.
