It's on hold for now, i asked in X, they cannot confirm when it will start again. I can only see my base point but not the table anymore.

My mileage redemption flight to Korea, originally booked for March 11th 2026, was unexpectedly cancelled. The app system only offered a March 12th option on the older A330-200, and the timing didn’t suit me. I was hoping for a red-eye flight. Out of curiosity, I tested the system with fresh booking and found open seats on March 10th with the preferred aircraft and timing. Called up customer service the next day, and they helped sort everything out smoothly.

If this happens to any of you, please check the system for next availability rather than the limited options under "Resolve This".

normally the will offer flight next.not before your original flight. some people can fly after the date. it is quite normal for flight to cancel/reschedule. it happened to me before

also, nowadays the enrich saver class requires more points than economy value.. is this normal or still a system glitch?

Malaysia Airlines has been doing this a lot recently. 2 times they already claim my business class flight was 'cancelled' (1 via miles claim, 1 via seat upgrade bid). They claim the flight was rescheduled or the plane was changed but I'm very aware what plane they were using and the original flight was still there and the plane is the same. The first time I accepted the next available flight option because I wasn't in the rush.

The 2nd time this happen I insist they give me my original flight as it's still available and I really needed that flight. They initially did say my original business class seat was available and even printed the ticket. However few hours later they u turn and downgrade me to economy seat. They did compensate me with one equivalent business class flight though, redeemable within next 6 months. Still I wasted 3 hours panicking about my schedule because of this last minute 'cancellation'.

I suspect MAS still continue to oversell business class tickets and will kick out those who redeem on miles or on a cheaper option by first telling the flight is rescheduled or cancelled, hoping you accept the change.

I hope there's no more disruption after this. Just can't accept the plane being downgraded to A330-200 because the business seats are really narrow tats all.

Refresh your system, clear cache or check again couple of days later. The other time I saw enrich saver on phone app but once login to internet via laptop, it doesn't show up. The system is very glitchy.

I find that MAS have increased their fares. I'm looking at regional flights (DPS, BKK, SGN etc) and all are roughly 10-20% higher than 1-2 months ago.
Anyone else noticed?

I think just Enrich Saver very few seats are available, so when you look around usually the cheapest is the next available tier which is more expensive.

In the past maybe 4-5 years, point cost for regional has gone up 2x for sure... I frequently book BKK<>KUL, and I used to get 1 way for around 14,700 points... my last booking was 27,900 points one way (BKK>KUL). KUL>BKK is slightly cheaper and you can still get for around 20,000 points one way on Saver.

Forgot to mention, this is business. Economy has also increased but I think by a lower %...

Is this all in or base fare only?

I paid RM663 tax for 3 pax, so about RM220 per pax.

Flight to Korea done. Got it under enrich saver for 2 pax.
