seems like MAS is doing funny business with enrich saver now. i couldn't find any for the next 8 months straight to few destinations.

maybe, just maybe, they doesn't want people to redeem enrich until after this months end when all other promo expired.

i just sent a complain today morning, waiting for reply, after that cc to MAVCOM, then probably will see some result, just maybe..

local flight, you can see the 2100 pts in the option, but enrich saver doesn't appear.

heh, i think MAS already stopped enrich saver programme. it's 404 on their website now. or maybe devaluation, or simply just taken down temporarily.

That's the 2nd follow up response by them after reported to MAVCOM for false advertising but i can see that they dragging the case for as long as possible by simply sending an email that investigation is still ongoing every few days so they can reset the timer.

Maybe they will be forced to announce something or enable it back if enough people reporting it to MAVCOM

the only way you can save money for tax is fly from Singapore, then transit at KUL. Provided you have time to do this kind of stunt.

yes correct. probably it will be far more worth it doing this if time is not a constraint for you.

yes, unfortunately at the expense of time here. singapore i might still can play around with the transit. but CX out of question already as i have a baby to care for.

Point difference : 24,600 (assuming RM0.025 per miles = RM615)

hmm, i remember the points is far more negligible when i checked previously. I can't find the screenshot but it was in consideration few months ago.

I ended up flying to Melbourne instead via SQ as I have some KF miles.

I'm from Johor, so i can just ask someone to fetch me into SG.

But, if you do KUL - SIN - KUL, sometimes the fare is not that expensive either, can just use AA over.

I did it since there's a mid tier benefit for gold for 100k base point conversion if u time it correctly.

And if you are *clever* enough, you will easily breakeven the 100k pts conversion cost and regain back the miles in few months time.

Shouldn't be, otherwise what is the point of resetting the point every year?

TNC also never stated it's only once per member lifetime or similarly sound clause.

Any idea if mid tier bonus still valid? I don't see the chart anymore in the account.

It's on hold for now, i asked in X, they cannot confirm when it will start again. I can only see my base point but not the table anymore.

i just redeemed JHB - PVG return for 19800 pts for Economy Value on next year Apr-May labor day holiday.

I paid RM663 tax for 3 pax, so about RM220 per pax.

Taking 4 days leave ma. Maybe 3 if consider another one wfhotel heh.

just redeemed another flight on march.

jhb - nrt - 21000 miles
kix - kul - 10000 miles

tax about rm850. not bad this round.
