Those with Enrich Platinum/Oneworld Emerald, if flying (any class) with a Oneworld airline, have access to a "First Class" Lounge. Not every airline have First Class lounges, but those who does, it can be very good.

I went to Melbourne Qantas First Class Lounge flying Y with MH using my Enrich Platinum status (by default, MH will direct you to a rather lousy Marhaba Lounge). It is one class above MH's own First Class Lounge at KLIA, and 3 classes over the CC access lounges like PPL or Marhaba. Table service ala-cart menu, with very good choices freshly cooked on site. Extensive wine list.

They also have a First Lounge in Changi, so if you are flying MH to KUL, can also use that lounge, if your flight timing fits (Changi lounge restricted hours based on the 380s evening schedule.)

the lounges that welcome gold/platinum or business/first, they are basically gold/business lounges.

The dedicated 1st class/platinum/emerald lounges, lower tiers including gold or business class passengers cannot enter.

Still depends on which one world partner ..
Example: Im on Y fare MH transiting via Doha with enrich plat, they reserve their first class lounge to own airline only (Qatar), their partners will be directed to gold/plat lounges.
I expect emerald would be treated same across all partner..

Sorry, I should have added that Qatar is the exception. That is because they actually have 2 sets of lounges: one for Oneworld partners, and one purely for their own premium customers. They actually have 2 Gold/Platinum lounges, I have been to both, they do have ala carte menu too, but the choices are limited. Of course I cannot try their own flagship lounges... blush.gif

Anyone upgraded Enrich Silver or Gold via transferring 50K/100K miles to Enrich cash? (Promotion period 10th April till 30th May 2025.)

I did it during the launch promotion... 80K for Gold.

Is it worth it? I don't really think so since the main benefit (for me) from Gold is only lounge access.

Also, the EnrichMoney Points have a expiry date - so because I wasn't able to use the points in time, I lost around 50k Points value (which is equivalent to roughly RM1k++ if you use the cashback/redeem feature).

In terms of overall value, I wouldn't do it again - better (in my case) to just leave the points as Enrich Points and use them to redeem my flights. Only way I would consider is for Platinum level (and even then I would need to consider/calculate).

I did it since there's a mid tier benefit for gold for 100k base point conversion if u time it correctly.

And if you are *clever* enough, you will easily breakeven the 100k pts conversion cost and regain back the miles in few months time.

Any tips? I'm not a frequent flyer so likely unable to maximise the benefit.

Following the Enrich Saver table, 50k EP one way for Tokyo Business. Unless there is some promo going on, around 48k but very rare. Last time was during Matta fair

If you do not mind the higher airport tax, it is more worth to redeem 50k for NRT as it is flying the A350.
