Has anyone tried transferring points or booking flights via One World member airlines?

Can share with us the process / difficulty / duration etc?

Am no longer interested in using Enrich points in MAS.

Last I checked, only can do via phone call to CS. This was 2 years ago.

There is no means to redeem with other Oneworld airlines with the MH App or website, you will need to trial and error the target airline and sectors for availability, and the call the CS to get them to book for you.

Although SQ App have a Star Alliance and "partner airline" option in the redemption process, you consistently also get no options available too.

The Airlines alliances are not as tightly knitted as we would like to think. The only service that works consistently is using status to enter alliance airlines' lounges, get priority seats and boarding. Even that, you can run into trouble with QR.

Thanks for the information, and in regards to the airlines alliance, I definitely agree.

Its definitely not as tightly knitted, its the "terms & conditions" or offerings on their website that I am trying to make use of.

From customer point of view, it does not matter whether they have clear procedure about this with other airlines, they have to sort it out as its not my problem. But of course, they can just choose to deny service in which I will again question their operations

Guys, it is possible to convert Enrich Miles to ANA Miles?

Reading the news about issue with MAS.
What happens if you book a flight with Miles and get cancelled / delayed? Do we get back the Miles used + Taxes paid?

I have redeemed all my credit cards to Enrich Miles recently, and accumulated enough points to redeem flight tickets for me and my family members to travel to Japan.

Question: Can I redeem the tickets for my family members and myself under my account, or do I need to transfer the points to their Enrich account to redeem the flight ticket?

Some help on this would be appreciated as I've never redeem flight using Miles before. Thank you.

You can redeem for your family.

New mavcom rule can get refund of points too.

I've seen people posted that their redeemed flight got affected by the recent cancelations, got rebooked without issue, shouldn't have difference with paid tickets

Question: I have points expiring early next year, does it mean that the flight I book needs to be before the expiry date to utilize it? Or it is fine if I book something after the expiry date and it will still use up the expiring points?

Book before the points expire.

Can book up to 350 days ahead, which is the usual timeframe airlines open flights for booking.

So its based on booking date, not flight date right?

And you can book up to 350 days into the future anytime, whether cash or points.

I've redeemed all my cards with UOB and Alliance Bank, but I couldn't redeem with MBB because it's capped for the month. So sad.

Every month since June this issue with MBB. I managed to convert all points from MBB 1st of July and terminated the cards the next day. UOB giving better conversion now and faster redemption as well.

UOB also getting revision this month, but still better than other bank I guess

Ambank is better for overseas transactions, offering RM 1 per mile, compared to UOB's revised rate of RM 1.2 per mile. I will be applying for Ambank Enrich soon!

So far, I have 4 credit cards for earning miles:

For Local Use:
1. Amex Platinum Charge Card
2. HLB Visa Infinite

For E-wallet:
1. Alliance Bank

For Overseas:
1. UOB PRVI Elite Miles (planning to switch to Ambank soon)

Just to double check, there is no expiry date for Alliance VI timeless bonus points and UOB PRVI Miles Elite uniringgit? Don't really want to convert my miles now since enrich miles has an expiry date of 3 years.
