Yes, but look at it this way:

1. I can’t afford to be put on waiting list. Time is money and I have to confirm my dates otherwise my patients will maki hamun flip table when they fly in from Indonesia or Vietnam only to find the practice closed and no cover because of some last minute shit.

2. So we usually book and pay to confirm our slot, and depending on what we are down to do over at the destination (eg just visiting home and Netflix and chill for a month vs I have patients to see in Sydney because my colleagues have gathered enough cases for me to consult) we would have decided on Business (for the former scenario) vs First or Suites (for the latter - hey, gotta pamper myself a bit).

3. If it’s the former (ie Business) then we try our luck to see if we can get an upgrade using our points.

We have a tonne of points and not many uses for them. There are only so many 30% discounted Apple iPhone or iPad models that I am willing to buy from Krisshop every year…

After PPL, now the golden lounge is going to be a fishmarket....it already is very crowded at times....the domestic lounge.

Buffet offering in mas golden lounge at kul satellite terminal  is better than before but still can't get espresso martini or mimosa for breakfast

Yes - in the Regional lounge recently they had the usual hot foot options with fresh pasta options as well as usual fresh noodles, lots of brownies, cakes and doughtnuts and also cheese selection which is quite rare to see at buffets except at 5 star hotels. I think the offering is pretty good now.

I'm fine with less alcohol allowance - there's already some people who don't know how to behave in public, shouting loudly amongst their group, playing their video call over the speakerphone, etc. I don't want people's inhibitions lessened further.

What about HLB Visa Infinite? Local spending RM3.5 for 1 enrich mile. Is there other cards with better offer? Used mostly on local spending.
