Slightly off topic. It'll be interesting to see the transformation of the Enrich programme (e.g. Membership Tiers) as well once the One World Alliance kicks in.

I believe this is why MBB is now offering unlimited PP to its WMC instead of the Enrich Silver with Lounge Access.

If you input the membership number at the point of booking, all you need to do is to show up during your flight. Once your flight is completed, the Enrich points should be credited within a few days. However, if you do not do that then you need to show your Enrich card at the point of checkin.

Actually it is very easy. No need to even bother calculating as if you had already qualify then you would.
Just login into your Enrich account to see your account status. Your activities are recorded, updated and even your upgrades. (Presumably you ensure your Enrich miles are captured accurately)

Historically MBB never gave out more than 10% extra Enrich Point, let it be on VI, WMC or anything else. (as far as I could remember). If you think it is acceptable to you, grab it. Else continue to wait which may or may not swing to your benefit.

Under normal conditions where the ticket is purchased via non-award means then the change is likely to be possible. (depending on the ticket class + often with a change fee and others fees) To note that MAS define "update" as changing 3 (max) characters in the person name designated as the traveller. Changing a name is totally a different thing altogether and carries the full impact of additional fees.

To note under award, the following rule applies.

"18. Once a Travel Award is issued it is considered used if not utilised for the flight reserved. Enrich Miles cannot be re-deposited nor can taxes, fees and surcharges paid be refunded."

Sorry mate but bad news. Everything is totally gone if you wish to change it to another person. Worst still, you have to deduct more points from your coffers and pay for the taxes again. Anyone using the Enrich award should be aware of the impact if the person decides not to fly after redeeming the award.

In the many years with my contact with Enrich, I have not come across such problems. I'm not sure why are you posting such, do you have any validated case reference that can be shared here ? (Highlight : validated case) Appreciate if you do not spam if you do not have anything concrete to share.

There's a minimal error possibility if the award booking is done at MAS office but often they will re-validate traveling information at least twice before the finalize the ticket. On the other hand, zero error possibility online coz everything is done by the customer - so if there's a mistake, it is the customer's beyond doubt. Do check everything to be in order before doing that redemption.

Not known why Enrich is so strict post redemption, readers please be sure to fly before you make that redemption.

Enrich points going through a big level of inflation now. Points being asked for redemption is rather crazy now. Let's say x amount of points can get you business class, now you may have to redeem double the amount of points just to get economy class

Probably you are right there. The dates which I intend to travel would be during the Raya holidays. Economy return tix (before tax) for KUL ICN is costing me 120k worth of points.

One hand, I would like to save it for Bus class redemption but my points are expiring in Mar 23'. If i remember correctly, pre C19 periods, the redemptions for festive seasons flights are not too crazy like now. Upset ... yes but nothing anyone can do about it. Probably will just bite the bullet.

Harder to get points now. MBB VI revised their points system and don't know what will happen to CIMB TWE after 31 Dec 23'.

The best card to accumulate Enrich points right now is CIMB TWE and they will hold this title until 31 Dec 23' unless a new challenger comes along.

Can't convert Enrich points to ANA Miles.
