Haven't done that but you may want to check the YQ..Asia Miles can be quite high.

Keep in mind Enrich redemption includes taxes and surcharges..? I think

AsiaMiles redemption should require you to pay taxes and surcharge

Don't think any airlines redemption will include these, but for sure Enrich doesn't

For people short of miles, it's still worth paying some money for a j redemption.....

I meant you might need to pay less $$$ for Enrich redemption than AM..? Remember i read somewhere that you didn't need to pay for fuel surcharges for Enrich

Very long didn't redeem Enrich already so not sure of the latest changes but previously (1-2 years back) the surcharge/taxes were very high.

Enrich ask u to pay the YQ via miles, airport tax via cash
AsiaMiles pay in cash for both YQ+airport taxes

Since last Enrich devalue, the redemption rate for J and above are being ridiculous, I don't bother to check anymore.

Then comes Asia Miles start imposing YQ exHKG, tickets getting expensive, but still reasonable as there is ceiling price that they will charge depends on the route.

Most airlines pass down YQ to passenger, familiar to us like MH, QR, BA, QF all do. CX has capped, so do JL

Sorry guys, I did some calculation but I still cant conclude which is best for me. Lets say I have 200k points expiring soon, should I convert them to enrich miles based on 10,000 TP = 1,000 miles or should I just opt for cash vouchers instead?

500 TP = RM1 , so 10,000 TP = RM20

Does 1,000 miles worth RM20 <- this is what I'm looking for

My Citi PremierMiles been charged for annual fee rm600.
CS told me credited 10K point to my acc, and to offset rm600, I need 30K point to do so,

However, she claimed that 10K point is equivalent or better than rm600 if I claim for airline miles etc

totally cannot understand the logic ...why I need take my own 20K point to offset the rm600....

and citi miles - 30K point... really no idea what can I do with it..really > RM600?

My only reaction, cut the citi card unless they waive your fees , their cut are one of the worst in the market

If you convert into say, 100k miles, that nominally is worth RM2000....you can use that to redeem a j class flight one way to Australia....which will normally cost you rm5k.....
