What's the easiest way to sync contacts?

Can I use a 3rd party SMS app?
Yes, you can. Find for "Handcent" SMS on Android Market. It's free and very customizable compare to the default sms app.

Handcent SMS Issue: When there is a new SMS comes in, you will receive 2 notifications at the top, yes? How to disable the original SMS application and use Handcent SMS from here onwards?
Go to the default sms app--> click on menu button --> Go to settings --> Uncheck the Received Notification

It will the usual OTA (over-the-air) update done using either data connection or wifi.

My desire always keep restarting when it become hot while connect to data line or playing games. After flashing new rom also will restarting and need to pull out battery, let it cool and then it can boot up. It is time for my desire to retire as I already bought Galaxy Nexus AP set.Now using 4.2.1 jelly bean. rclxm9.gif

Although I have recently moved on to Xperia S. This phone has served me very well for the past 24 months and certainly give me a very good experience on Android itself. Big salute for making this far (into V12) although most of the info like outdated already.

i am in need of help
yesterday my phone was working fine. dont know why i itchy finger just wanted to turn off the phone maybe want to let it rest awhile. now when i turn on back it stuck at boot screen with the htc logo and nothing happens.
i did not root my phone before. i also did the clear storage thing by pressing the volume down and power button. but its still the same.
anyone have any idea what to do?
