Owhh man~ so touched, Joined Desire Community @ May '11~
Now my Desire's served me for more than 18 months and still serving me!
(no fund to jump ship also tongue.gif )

Recently flashed back into original RUU and re-root it smile.gif
Because due to lots of flashing, FB, Phewtick, and a few more apps linking to FB are down... smile.gif

Well, any recommendation to a stable rom?

for me, 1st thing budget, not many ppl have the fund to always change phone..
2nd, hell no, there's no other low budget phone with specs like this~

yeah. i'm one of the those who don't have fund to change phone.
so i'm still hanging with the desire. but it does freeze a few times a day (which kinda frustrates me abit)

I am using HTC Desire from Apr 2011. I rooted it after half year. Now using custom ROM, Runnymede AIO V6.0.4.3 Special Edition with HTC Sense 3.5.

hi guys ... my htc wildfire just "kong" ... just got my sis' spare htc desire (model A8181).

so i'm wondering is it best to root the phone or just use it as it is for best performance.

appreciate u guy's recommendation in advance.

best to root, you will "pek cek" with the low internal storage capacity...
rooting gain you access to A2SD (depends which custom rom you using)

currently using:-
ROM : CM10 | Jelly Bean 4.1.2 - v3.1
SD : 8GB with 1GB partition

thanks for all the information, it's a great help ... anyway i have a 4GB microSD but used ... can i use it or do i need to get a new one ? the maximum partition is only 1GB or does it has anything to do with the size of the microSD card ?

4GB also can, but for max efficient, do use a 8GB...
Partition size doesnt rely on mSD capacity...
if not mistaken, max part is 1GB...
