so it does support it?
Nopes, your current MSI 945GM3 motherboard does not support 45nm processors such as the E5300 nor E7400.

thank god or rather lex, i was wondering where i was going to pull that extra cash from!

so im going to upgrade the processor to the
e4700/e5300 and get a hdd and psu, what do u guys think?
The 65nm E4700 is supported on your current motherboard.
But I don't think you can find the E4700 in retail anymore nowadays, its EOL'ed.

i've got 2 PATA 160gb hdds and 1 250gb sata hdd, because im using a mid tower now, if i add on another hdd would it affect the electrical flow of the computer if i were to not buy a psu?
So many HDDs?

I would suggest a true power PSU of 400W and preferably higher.
