if not needing the device urgently and the package plan suit your usage, saving RM1k off the retail price is worth the wait for Maxis restock. Just saw the big ads they put in the Star today for the Note II RM1,199 Surfmore 75 promo.

never face such problem upgrading from HTC Desire>>Desire HD>>Note>>Note II. Do you give some time for the sync to be completed? especially if you have a lot of contacts. Do check your gmail contacts at your computer to see whether the full contact list is at the web.

i thought Whatapps conversation history is saved at their server?

then i think you have those contacts saved in Whatapps, not Google account. In contacts, you see the contact in the list because you have chosen to display all contacts, including contacts in Whatapps. In fact, those contacts are not in the Google list.

But I think you can just merge those Whatapps contacts to your Google account and do a sync in your old Note.

dev-host is fast today, downloading it at 300KB/s now. Since many has given good comment on it, will flash it with full wipe before i settling on this or the Omega V8.

these external battery case only selling for RM20-30 in the wholesale shop. Do you really want to risk your Note II and your life using that?

If really need extra battery life, just buy a second original battery.

I think the FM radio frequency will be conflicting with the LTE, so they take out the FM radio function from the LTE version.

have you inserted the cable firmly into the microUSB port? No setup required. Maybe your cable is faulty or not compatible.

passby one Machine at Tebrau City JB and dropby to get the Ipad charger last weekend but was informed it was out of stock. Wondering whether is it because of many Note II/Nexus 7 users buy it to charge their non-apple devices.

out of curiosity, since many complain about the hissing sound, i stick my ear on the original white charger yesterday night and can hear a buzzing sound but i think it is normal electrical sound. Can't hear the sound if my ear is 3 inches away.

are you using a good power socket? Maybe a faulty power socket (especially those cheap multiple socket extension) over-volt you original charger and spoilt it?

Never have problem with original Samsung charger since Note, S3 and now Note II.

format once in your Note II before start using. Try not to format using your computer. Transfer the data via USB cable, unless you are very sure that your card reader is 100% SDXC compatible.
