Perhaps bro blacktubi can get more info haha.. They do look similar to me, but not sure if there are any changes due to telco contracts.. hopefully not biggrin.gif

Edit: After reading more.. it seems they are identical.. just rebranding. It is also rebranded to Telekom Speedbox LTE. Both the Vodafone B2000 and Telekom Speedbox LTE is Huawei B593

Yup, the limitations are set by the telco provider.. so if the B2000 is flashed with Huawei's stock firmware, it should perform like the original one biggrin.gif (fingers crossed)

Let's put it in an arrogant and blunt way, money is not really an issue (for me or others) but then Maxis' speed in my area is so donkey. sleep.gif

Pretty true.. need to evaluate the speed first before splurging the dough. If ok, I might get this modem for the old folks to facebook or watch movies online back in Penang haha.

That's the whole reason why I have the intention to sell off my E398 and one extra panel. It doesn't serve much purpose to me. laugh.gif

Currently my handicap e372 out perform all the rest of my modem. So unless the e398 performs superb or else better skip the b593 dream. hmm.gif

E372  DC HSPA+ - 3.1MB/s-3.4MB/s

They should be on the same chipset cuz I saw some unlocked B2000s supporting LTE 100Mbps downloads.. hmm..
*
Actually LTE chipset on LTE device are the same by Qualcomm right now nod.gif

No mather B593 or E398 they are running on the same chip.

But B593 larger PCB and better heat allow higher stability compared to conventional 3G modem. And bigger antenna allow better signal.

Eg : Yes Go dongle VS Yes Zoom. The improvement is obvious

If you guys aim for B593, wait for 2013 Maxis will launch it, avoid wasting the money now icon_idea.gif

Just keep those that works best for you tongue.gif

E398 is definitely more stable than MF680 unless you cool your MF680 too.

Nah, for the whole night my E398 only got 5Mbps max. I got so fed up with it and changed to MF680 and immediately my speed straight shot up to 11Mbps. Coincidence? I don't know.
Yes stable in obtaining slow speed lo. laugh.gif

No cooling was done and actually oh E398 is equivalent hot as well.

It works differently depends on location I can say hmm.gif
Some got MF680 working some may not whistling.gif

I tried more than 5 MF680 and killed 2 by firmware, none of them ever works at my location even with my Umobile.
That's why I always prefer E372 when E398 not here.

I will do a complete review once I get my Camera back nod.gif

MF680 is a whole hot brick.
E372 cold outside hot inside doh.gif

E398 come with plenty of thermal tape inside to encourage heat dissipation.
Until now it is the only LTE got this feature.
Every LTE chip is hot (320U / MF820) doh.gif
