FSP for around the same price point. Unless you wanna spend more. Seasonic Focus GX, Corsair RMx, Super Flower Leadex III Gold are great.

Okie.. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll look into it.. It's abit hard to get a good value psu + shipping to Sarawak.

Cheers

For the build below,

Ryzen 5 3600
Asrock B550M Steel Legend
16GB 3200
2 M.2 + 2 HDD
ZOTAC GTX1050 Ti (No 6 pin)

Is Silverstone 600W (SST-ST60F-ES230) / 700W good enough for this build? Thanks

Overkill, and that one is not particularly a good PSU either - go for something like FSP Hydro/Hyper (budget oriented) /Gigabyte P550/Super Flower Leadex Silver instead icon_idea.gif

That PSU is based on a very old platform, and is known to have out of spec power ripple on minor rails (3.3V and 5V) icon_idea.gif

Corsair H115i
16GB 3200

ZOTAC GTX2060

Any PSU to recommend with budget of 400-ish? Was looking at CM MWE Gold 650W but got a warning from PCPartpicker..

The MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.

Thank you.

I have a 1000W Superflower LEADEX Gold 2 used almost 24/7 since 2017.

Ran multi GPU GTX970 + GTX1080ti for about a year for some rendering projects but have since reverted to a single GTX970 and idling most of the time.

Started something and need lots of rendering power so am gonna get a new rig late this year. ? Planning to run multi GPUs again once the new GPUs come out. Might be pushing a total system usage of around 750w - 850w for long durations. Can I reuse my current PSU safely?

No worries, the Leadex II Gold is one of the best PSUs around, and should have no problem handling that icon_idea.gif

i got a newbie question , should i turn off the power supply switch ( the switch at the back of psu) everytime i shut down pc for the night? my set up is like
wall socket -> avr -> pc , i usually switch psu off and then turn off avr after i shut down. Just want to know the effect of leaving it on or any risk.

Yup, this one is a very good choice - in fact one of the best ones you can buy in this budget icon_idea.gif
