I think when they show you the unit, the box itself will prove is a local set or AP set. Usually you must see the description i guess. Y500 i saw someone selling RM 3500.

Guys....I think I have the the keyboard problem, sometime it just freezed whenever I pressed it...sometimes automatically typed randsa1f5jkl;\om...see that...I didn't type that...I tried to find for the solution on Lenovo forum....seem that I'm not the only one...the solution they gave was to disabled the USB always on from the BIOS...tried that and it didn't work...any advice?

Did you check SriComputer? Seems that is all they have y580 with blueray drive. Quite pointless cause I've not use a disc (cd/dvd/blueray etc) with a computer for the past few years.

I went to Lenovo Exclusive Shop in Digital Mall after the bugger said got the Blu-Ray

Went there, said OOS. vmad.gif

I'm using external keyboard now. Razer Lycosa.

I dunno can enable/disable the keyboard but so far, no issue with Razer.

Only problem is adjust the volume and brightness. blink.gif
