QUOTE(sss2sssss @ Dec 10 2012, 07:51 PM) Well the infomation in the GT650M not so true, they show only the DDR3 variants only... Actually has a difference, 660M as a GTX grade Graphic Card can support TXAA aliasing techs which a GT650M don't support it at allAdded on December 10, 2012, 7:53 pmWell I post my GT650M GPU-Z screenshot... ![]() And the GTX660M ![]() These two card performance is very close, what GTX660M can do GT650M also can do, just approx 5fps drop if it's in real life |

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Dec 12 2012, 09:48 AM) got 2 SATA slot... 1 SATA-III and 1 SATA-II..... most spec list HDD at SATA-III and ODD at SATA-II, but many of us who opt to use SSD put SSD at SATA-III while removing ODD and put HDD at SATA-II slot with caddy... Push it to highest performance while gaming, HDD temperature is around 52'c to 55'c, is this considered over heat?honestly, i still haven't seen ppl actually said that their HDD really overheat... |

QUOTE(sss2sssss @ Dec 12 2012, 10:09 AM) HDD maximum operating temp is 55'c.... Well I not so advice to continuous push in this temp... Switch it to ODD place.... QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Dec 12 2012, 10:11 AM) some hdd model can push to 60 degree.... Wow, guess i will have to get a SSD and replace the HDD then but in my opinion, reaching max temp =/= overheat Added on December 12, 2012, 10:14 ambut yeah, better move HDD to ODD spot if you're into heavy gaming... |

QUOTE(liptonpc @ Dec 12 2012, 11:38 PM) haizz other thing make me confuse between Y400 and Y580 #_#....worry about heating of 580 but love the full hd of this. also like the weight of 400 but less power than 580 (just try y580 at other shop just idle but at bottom (G + H) its quite warm ) #_# both have almost same price not too big different #_#...any recommend? Once you are into FHD, you won't turning back to the normal screen. thanks |

I replaced the hdd with a ssd in my y580, but found out the ssd temperature is rather higher than the temperature of hdd before.
Is it normal? |

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Dec 22 2012, 09:23 PM) Currently my laptop not with me, so couldn't show the screenshot. But I did monitoring my ssd temperature since I install it. During idle it is around 47 celcius, and reached maximum of 59 celcius when I gaming. This is not normal right? |
