i was thinkpad owner previously, the laptop serves me for years without problem. suddenly caught by lightning and i think its not that worth to repair. so im planning to buy fujitsu next. please recommend me:)

stating ur budget and maybe some other basic info will help others to recommend u something.. 12.1? 13.3? 14.1? what do u often do with ur laptop? normal sufring + office work? graphic design and such?

since u need Fujitsu model which is light... i would recommend u get either the tablet PCs or get those S series model coz S stands for SLIM & LIGHT.

ello...i went to the fujitsu fair as you guys recommended and bought L1010. now i am cracking my head to transfer all my personal stuff to tis new laptop...plus i have been using XP for many years, not sure how tis vista works...

wat version of Vista r u using now?? Vista got lots of type lar... home basic, home premium, biz, ultimate... etc...

mine is home basic...trying to transfer my thunderbird mails to it but not sure how. so still trying

L1010 is the cheapest Fujitsu with dedicated graphics card, however this model is made in China instead of made in Japan.

i think so. y? i think adapater has 1 year warranty if i believe. but u can call up Fujitsu HQ to ask them this question. i think the number is toll-free...

at first reformat doesnt help,it still goes "woo~woo~"but the fan somehow stable right now..donno what happened lol.i did nothing other than reformat really =D
btw,i lose my bluetooth after reformatting.downloaded drivers from fujitsu web but cant install it ==" have to reformat again near future.

I experienced typing problems when the cursor suddenly appear some where else and I have to correct them. This is troublesome.

I got my lappie back oredi everything seems ok. Apparently it was the because the cable inside was loose therefore the back light went off.. anyway i see no difference before and after it was sent to service center but then again keeping my finger crossed

i just noticed there are a lot of indians (from India or pakistani) selling laptops like anything in lowyat but they don't sell Fujitsu

btw, the cursor don't suddenly moved somewhere, it happens when u accidentally press "home"
