I have an important ques.

Does anyone know for sure that if I apply for PTPTN now, would they be able to channel payment in time for May intake? Or would they be late in channeling the payment to the institution?

I'm concerned that the payment won't arrive in time, so we have to make payment in advance for semester 1.

the next valid period of application for ptptn will be on next sem, which is on may...

i think some of the universities require the student to apply in bundle rite?

Just check from PTPTN website, it stated there, "Sijil SPM (salinan transkrip keputusan peperiksaan SPM hanya diterima jika tidak melebihi tempoh DUA TAHUN dari tahun peperiksaan kepada tahun pinjaman PTPTN dibuat", means if i took my SPM back in year 2003, I'm not qualify for applying PTPT loan?

That means the slip u got after your spm (the rectangle small sized white colour paper) only valid for 2 years.

After 2 years, u'll need to provide the full cert of ur spm results.

from 1 weeks to few weeks(2 months + ) depends on how fast they process it

and money will be bank in in part by part(semester by semester) and not 1 lump sum(total)

Mine is using CIMB. so meaning loan 20k they will split up into like 5k per semester?

Hey all, just wanna share my experience here.

I'm a KLIUC student (June 2007 Intake). As far as I could remember, I applied for PTPTN online the next month after I entered the college. I thought I was rejected at first cos I wasn't notified about any news on it until my dad decided to call my college regarding the loan in November (which is already the 2nd semester).
So they told my dad that they had server problems in KLIUC where they are unable to send informations to the main PTPTN server (something like that). The matter got my dad real angry cos they didn't even notify neither me nor my parents about the incident.
On January 2008 I finally received the required agreements for the loan and had everything signed up by my parents according to the rules and regulations.
On mid February 2008, a portion of the money was successfully banked in, for my November Intake (Note that they haven't banked in the money for my first semester).
Yet until now I haven't received the first semester loan. I've already finished my 2nd semester and will be entering the 3rd semester on early April. I called the college a few weeks ago and they said that they are still in the process of sending my results to PTPTN. I was like WTF??? Notice how slow they are!!
